Chapter 667 Goodbye Tsuchihara

Ning Zhiheng could only say with a regretful expression, "I wanted to stay with Uncle for a while longer."

Fujiwara Hirofumi laughed heartily, patted Ning Zhiheng's arm, and said softly, "I also hope to spend a few more days with you, but we must prioritize important matters. There will be opportunities in the future."

Ning Zhiheng had no choice but to nod in agreement and leave the office. He left the mansion and, under the protection of a guard team, his vehicle drove all the way to the newly established Tuyuan Agency headquarters.

Ning Zhiheng didn't know what the document in his hand was, but he wouldn't take any risk to look at it, because his car was Fujiwara Hirofumi's sedan, and the driver and attendants were Fujiwara Hirofumi's original crew. Any move he made was likely under their watchful eyes.

Furthermore, Ning Zhiheng couldn't guarantee that the documents didn't have any hidden markings or other safeguards. Although Fujiwara Hirofumi wasn't a special agent, Tsuchihara Keiji was not someone who could be easily fooled. It was best to be cautious; acting rashly without a clear objective would be extremely foolish.

The Tsuchihara Agency is actually the external arm of the Special Committee on China. It is a comprehensive intelligence agency jointly established by the Army, Navy and Foreign Ministry, and has extensive authority over China.

Originally, Tsuchihara Keiji wanted to establish a Fujiwara Agency under the name of the Fujiwara Company, and use Fujiwara Tomohito's political and financial resources to quickly expand the influence of this agency. Unfortunately, Ning Zhiheng rejected the idea outright, and in the end, he could only establish the agency in his own name.

Upon hearing the report, Tsuchihara Keiji quickly dispatched Kitaoka Ryoko to welcome Ning Zhiheng.

Dressed in a neat military uniform, Kitaoka Ryoko looked exceptionally dashing and beautiful. She strode to the gate, bowed slightly, and said softly, "Fujiwara-kun, I'm so sorry for not greeting you sooner. Please come with me!"

Ning Zhiheng looked at Kitaoka Ryoko with some surprise. He was unaware that Kitaoka Ryoko had transferred to the Tsuchihara Agency because of the destruction of the legal tender. He smiled slightly and nodded, saying, "So it's Team Leader Kitaoka. We met once before at the customs dock. But aren't you affiliated with the Special Higher Police?"

Kitaoka Ryoko replied somewhat awkwardly, "Yes, I was just transferred to the Tsuchihara Agency. Please take good care of me, Fujiwara-kun!"

"Not at all, Group Leader Kitaoka is too kind. I'm just a businessman, how could I possibly offer you any special treatment!"

Upon hearing this, Kitaoka Ryoko couldn't help but think to herself, "If Fujiwara Tomohito were truly an ordinary businessman, would he still be standing at the entrance of the Tsuchihara Agency? Would he need me, the head of the intelligence team, to flatter him?"

"Fujiwara-kun, you can actually call me Yoshiko. Please don't hesitate to ask me anything!"

Ning Zhiheng was taken aback, but still nodded and agreed: "Then I won't stand on ceremony, haha. To be honest, Miss Liangzi's military uniform makes me a little hesitant to act presumptuously. I hope Miss Liangzi will take good care of me in the future."

The two walked and talked, and soon arrived at the door of Keiji Tsuchihara's office. Ryoko Kitaoka stepped forward and knocked on the door.

Upon hearing the affirmative reply from inside, Kitaoka Ryoko leaned forward and gestured for him to leave, saying gently, "Fujiwara-kun, then I'll take my leave!"

Ning Zhiheng nodded politely in acknowledgment, then pushed open the door and went inside.

Inside, Keiji Tsuchihara was sitting behind his desk. When he saw Ning Zhiheng arrive, he smiled and got up to greet him, inviting Ning Zhiheng to the sofa next to him.

"Mr. Fujiwara just called. Thank you for your trouble, Fujiwara-kun!"

Ning Zhiheng handed the file bag to Tsuchihara Keiji and said with a smile, "It's no trouble at all. This is a document for the general. My uncle asked me to give it to you personally."

Keiji Tsuchihara took the file bag, glanced at it casually, then put it aside and asked, "Fujiwara-kun, if you hadn't reacted in time this time, the consequences would have been unimaginable."

"General, you're too kind. My uncle and aunt are my closest relatives, and this is what I should do," Ning Zhiheng replied with a smile.

After exchanging a few pleasantries, Tsuchihara Keiji looked at Ning Zhiheng and hesitated for a moment before finally speaking again: "Actually, Fujiwara-kun, you can reconsider my suggestion from last time. To be honest, I hold too many concurrent positions and have many affairs in North China, and my energy is somewhat depleted. If Fujiwara-kun can come and help me, I guarantee that your actual power as the head of the agency will not be weakened. At the very least, the Ministry of the Army will fully support your work. What do you think?"
