His concern wasn't about Su Yue, but rather about the underground party organization. He wasn't sure what questions the agents had asked Qin Lechi in the Special Operations Department's prison, but he had to be absolutely certain.
“That’s all. I specifically searched it all and also questioned the other interrogators. There are definitely no other testimonies.”
Hearing Ishikawa Takeshi's assurance, Ning Zhiheng was finally relieved. The two chatted for a while longer before Ishikawa Takeshi got up to take his leave.
