Su Yu said with a sympathetic look, "Yes, it's really unfortunate today. Director Jin is always very punctual. He must have something important to do today, so he might not be able to come!"
"Oh dear, please don't! Such an important document can't be left in my hands overnight! Besides, I have a ton of work to do, I can't just sit here doing nothing!" Secretary Chen's face fell as soon as he heard Su Yu's words, and he said anxiously.
"There's nothing I can do! I can't help you with that either! If you can't, just sit here a little longer. Maybe Director Jin will arrive soon." Su Yu spread his hands, looking helpless.
Secretary Chen had no choice but to chat with Su Yu in the office. The two chatted about all sorts of things for more than half an hour. When they looked at the time, it was already around 10 a.m., but there was still no movement from the office across the street.
Secretary Chen couldn't hold on any longer. He glanced at his watch, gritted his teeth, and said, "Director Su, it's getting late. I have a lot of things to do, so I can't keep you company any longer. Come visit me sometime. I'll be going now!"
"Alright, but it looks like Director Jin won't be coming today. Why don't you come visit me again tomorrow? I have some excellent black tea at home, I'll bring it for you to try!" Su Yu also stood up, ready to see Secretary Chen out!
Upon hearing Su Yu's words, Secretary Chen's face fell. After hesitating for a long time, he finally said, "Could Director Su accept this document on behalf of your Director Jin? It's really inconvenient for me to take the document home overnight. Besides, I have to pick up some friends tomorrow, so I really can't make it in time!"
"This is inconvenient, isn't it? Isn't it supposed to be Director Jin who receives it personally?" Su Yu looked very troubled.

When Secretary Chen saw that Su Yu had agreed, he was overjoyed and quickly handed the document bag in his hand to Su Yu. Then he took out a receipt and handed it to him as well.
He said solemnly, "When you hand it over to Director Jin, please ask him for a receipt signature. It must be his own signature, otherwise it won't be in accordance with the procedure. I will come to pick it up tomorrow afternoon!"
This was a necessary procedure for handing over important documents, which Su Yu was well aware of. He took the signed form, nodded, and agreed, "Don't worry about it! Come pick it up tomorrow afternoon!"
Seeing that the matter had been resolved satisfactorily, Secretary Chen thanked him repeatedly and left happily!
Su Yu saw Secretary Chen out of the office and watched him walk away. He then turned around and went back to his own office, locking the door from the inside.
