Chapter 16 Clash
My brain is racing, what should I do?
In a flash, she took a patient's meal from the bottom of the cart and turned to hand it to him.
"Don't move," the man warned her, tightening his grip on the knife.
Shen Wanjun said, "There are still some steamed buns left on the upper floor. You can take them if you want."
How can a man doing such a mentally and physically demanding job possibly be satisfied with just a few bites of noodles?
She boldly took two steps forward to make it easier for the other person to take the items.
A slight noise came from behind; it seemed this person was truly hungry.
Shen Wanjun was almost certain that this person was the one that Captain Zhang was looking for.
There were only two dark brown steamed buns left in the basket. The man swallowed one in one gulp and almost choked.
Hearing a cough behind her, Shen Wanjun spoke, her voice trembling.
There was still some vegetable soup in the enamel basin on the lower level.
No wonder this person even stole pickled vegetables; he must have been starving.
The enamel basin was lifted, and a slight clinking sound filled the air.
There was some vegetable soup, but only a little bit, almost just plain water, with no vegetable leaves at all.
well--
The man sighed softly and took a sip of the soup.
Suddenly remembering something, he handed his half-eaten black bread to Shen Wanjun.
"You eat too."
Shen Wanjun refused: "I'm not hungry."
The man's voice was deep: "Don't force me to take action."
Shen Wanjun bit her lip; she never ate food that others had eaten.
Not to mention a strange man; just thinking about it made her feel nauseous.
"Eat quickly, drink the vegetable soup too."
Seeing that he hadn't moved for a while, the man gripped the knife tightly and pierced through his clothes, stabbing into Shen Wanjun's delicate skin with a hissing sound.
"I'll eat it."
Shen Wanjun never dared to turn around, and the man also intentionally prevented her from seeing his true face.
He covered his face and handed her the food. Shen Wanjun ate two bites of the steamed bun and drank a few sips of the vegetable soup.
The man was relieved and finished the noodles in a few bites.
Shen Wanjun listened to the sound of slurping noodles behind her, but after a long time, the other person did not speak again.
She stood ramrod straight, not daring to move an inch.
Then a woman's voice came from behind: "Comrade, please let me through."
Shen Wanjun slowly moved to the side and quietly looked behind her, but there was no sign of the man.
As expected of Gan TeW's people, they come and go without a trace, not even making a sound when they walk.
That's really impressive.
Shen Wanjun quickly ran to find Train Chief Zhang and told him what had just happened. Train Chief Zhang immediately asked Shen Wanjun if she was injured.
Hearing that it was just a minor injury, he breathed a sigh of relief. "Comrade, you've worked hard. You've done a great job. Go and get some rest."
Shen Wanjun felt that she hadn't been able to help at all, and that Train Chief Zhang was still too polite.
Her head started to throb, so she quickly said goodbye.
Using the toilet as a cover, he quickly flashed back to the spatial dimension.
She had secretly put a sleeping potion in the soup, thinking it would knock out TeW, but who knew that the person would still think of letting her drink some too, even in that situation.
He's definitely a vigilant and difficult person to deal with.
Shen Wanjun took the antidote, but still felt a headache, so she lay down in the farmhouse and took a nap.
I woke up around dinnertime and while tidying my clothes, I discovered a cut on my back.
After gulping down several bowls of spiritual spring water, and disguising herself, Shen Wanjun returned to the train.
Damn it, do you know how expensive this silk shirt I'm wearing is?
The shirt that made Shen Wanjun feel sorry for herself was not only expensive, but it was also custom-made by her at a high price.
Damn you, Special W! If I don't catch you today, I'm not a Shen!
Shen Wanjun circled the car several times but couldn't find anyone.
Just as I was starting to feel discouraged, I saw a man smoking at the junction of the carriages.
The man had an ordinary appearance and melancholy eyes. He rubbed his eyes and temples, as if he had a headache.
Shen Wanjun's sixth sense told him that there was definitely something wrong with that person.
But she had no evidence.
After thinking for a moment, she gripped the anesthetic needle in her sleeve and walked toward the man.
Suddenly, a woman wearing glasses walked over and started chatting enthusiastically with the man.
Shen Wanjun brushed past the two of them and heard a barely perceptible sigh.
A thunderbolt exploded in Shen Wanjun's mind.
The sound was exactly the same as the sigh she heard in the private room last night.
Shen Wanjun glanced back a few times, trying hard to remember the other person's appearance.
Soon, Sergeant Tian Cheng, dressed in plainclothes, slowly approached.
Just as everyone was about to close the net, Shen Wanjun suddenly made a gesture to wait a little longer.
Sergeant Tian was taken aback. Only their internal staff knew this gesture. How could Shen Wanjun, a female comrade, know it?
Seeing that Sergeant Tian Cheng did not react, Shen Wanjun made another gesture: There is a new situation.
After hesitating for a few seconds, Sergeant Tian quickly led his men to the next carriage.
Shen Wanjun stood 10 meters away from the two of them, her eyes fixed on their mouths.
She quickly took a deep breath, and Inspector Asada made a gesture: Close the net.
Plainclothes officers swarmed forward and pinned the man to the ground.
The woman nearby squealed in fright, "What happened? Why are you arresting him?"
Sergeant Tian escorted the man to the train's office area, where Shen Wanjun asked for paper and pen and quickly wrote something down.
The man saw Shen Wanjun, his eyes darting around, and said, "I'm innocent. I was just following her orders. I did whatever she told me to do."
This woman drugged him, almost causing him to fall into a deep sleep from which he never woke up; he still has a headache to this day.
Since he's already been caught, he might as well take someone down with him.
Sergeant Tian, recalling how skillfully Shen Wanjun had demonstrated the hand gestures earlier, asked, "Comrade Shen Wanjun, how do you know our internal police hand gestures?"
Shen Wanjun put down her pen, took out a newspaper from her pocket, and said, "Take a look for yourself."
A line of small print in the newspaper was about the mayor commending outstanding individuals and mentioning several internal police hand gestures.
Sergeant Tian's face turned pale and then black, this...
"It's okay, I don't blame you. I have something to do, so I'll go now."
Shen Wanjun handed the paper covered in writing to Zhang, the train conductor, and ran back to the compartment to secretly call Dang Xianghong out.
"Sister Dang, there's a bad element here, we need your help to arrest him."
The Party's red eyes gleamed, and he rolled up his sleeves, asking with great bravado, "Where?"
The two arrived at the women's restroom, and Dang Xianghong kicked open the door, pulling out the woman wearing glasses who was still using the toilet.
Shen Wanjun quickly helped the woman pull up her pants, and then explained to the onlookers, "My younger sister is disobedient and insists on marrying a fool, and my older sister is very angry."
"Everyone, keep your distance. My older sister doesn't hold back when she hits you, so don't let anyone get hurt."
Train office area.
When Train Chief Zhang saw the note written by Shen Wanjun, he was shocked and couldn't help but slap Special Officer W.
"They want to steal our oil field resources? No way."
With a bang, the door was suddenly kicked open.
Sergeant Tian instinctively pulled out his black case; he had clearly just locked the door.
Dang Xianghong appeared, pulling at the woman with glasses, saying, "She's a bad person too."
Shen Wanjun said softly, "Chief Zhang, Sister Dang is anxious to catch Special Agent W, please don't mind."
Train conductor Zhang asked Shen Wanjun to sit down, and Shen Wanjun briefly told Train conductor Zhang about the conversation between the two special agents.
"I've written down all the details on paper."
"You heard it with your own ears?"
Sergeant Tian looked at the contents of the note with a suspicious expression.
At that time, they were all far away from the two people, and Shen Wanjun was even further away than they were.
How could she possibly hear what others were saying from such a distance?
Thinking of something, Sergeant Tian Cheng pulled out his black phone and pointed it at Shen Wanjun.
"Speak, who sent you?"
