"Didn't you say last time that the filming would take three months?"
Lu Chen asked.
How come you came back after only half a month?
"Why, you don't want me to come back?"
Gu Xiaoxiao put down her chopsticks and said angrily.
Lu Chen touched his nose. Wasn't this just a sign of concern?
His expression revealed his thoughts, and Gu Xiaoxiao was very angry.
"I have to go back to the crew in a few days. What we filmed in the past half month is only part of the movie." Gu Xiaoxiao explained unhappily.
"Oh." Lu Chen nodded in understanding, and at the same time felt inexplicably relieved.
Why did Gu Xiaoxiao feel like she wanted him to leave quickly after hearing his answer?
"Are you so eager for me to leave?"
Gu Xiaoxiao glared at him.
"No, you're overthinking it. Let's eat quickly. I'm in a hurry." Lu Chen couldn't help but urge.
Gu Xiaoxiao glanced at him and snorted coldly, "Are you in a hurry to go on a date?"
Meeting clients is also a form of dating, right?

Gu Xiaoxiao felt very upset. Could it be that Lu Chen was together with Jin Huahua?

After getting into the car, Gu Xiaoxiao kept her head down. She looked very excited just now, but now she looked listless and absent-minded.
"What's wrong? Are you suddenly in a bad mood?" Lu Chen fastened his seat belt and said to her.
"Lu Chen, are you together with Jin Huahua?" Gu Xiaoxiao bit her lip and hesitated for a long time before asking.
"No." Lu Chen shook his head.
Gu Xiaoxiao's eyes lit up instantly, and she looked up at him: "Really? So you said you were going on a date?"
"Isn't meeting a client considered a date?" Lu Chen asked back.
Gu Xiaoxiao was speechless.
Then she grabbed Lu Chen's hand as he was about to start the car, and Lu Chen looked up at her in confusion.
"Lu Chen, there is something I want to tell you."
Gu Xiaoxiao took a deep breath and gave herself a psychological hint.
"What's the matter? Just tell me directly." Lu Chen said.
"I like you, Lu Chen, and I want to be your girlfriend!" Gu Xiaoxiao leaned a little towards him and whispered into Lu Chen's ear.
Upon hearing this, Lu Chen jumped up suddenly and hit his head on the roof of the car. Lu Chen didn't care whether his head hurt or not. He looked at her in shock as if he had heard something shocking.
"Do you agree or not? Why are you looking at me like that?" Gu Xiaoxiao's face rarely showed a slight blush, and she glared at Lu Chen embarrassedly.

She just confessed her feelings, why did Lu Chen react so strongly?
"Miss, do you know what you are saying?" Lu Chen said after calming down.
"I know, I like you. Do you want to be my boyfriend? I will spoil my boyfriend very much." Gu Xiaoxiao pulled his hand forcefully, preventing him from starting the car.
Lu Chen was fruitless and turned to meet her eyes, "You know, I don't want to think about these things now, I just want to work hard."
"But, falling in love won't affect work." Gu Xiaoxiao didn't understand. Where was the conflict?
"You are an artist now, it's best not to spread any scandals." Lu Chen shook his head.
Gu Xiaoxiao was a little angry when she saw that he kept rejecting her.
"If you don't like me, just say it directly. Why are you making so many excuses?" Gu Xiaoxiao kicked the car angrily.
Seeing her childish behavior, Lu Chen shrugged helplessly.
"Gu Xiaoxiao, we are not suitable for dating now. Sorry, I may not be able to accept it." It was the first time that Lu Chen called Gu Xiaoxiao's full name so formally.
"Then why are you so nice to Jin Huahua? Do you like her? What you say is nonsense." Gu Xiaoxiao was so angry that she almost cried.
How is she worse than Jinhuahua?
Lu Chen sighed and was about to say something when Gu Xiaoxiao opened the door and got out of the car.
Seeing this, Lu Chen hurriedly chased after her, only to see Gu Xiaoxiao had already waved and hailed a taxi and left.
Lu Chen could only stand there and sigh, then get in the car and leave.
In the evening, Lu Chen dragged his tired body back to the rented house.
Jin Huahua had been waiting for him in the living room for a long time.
"Not asleep yet?" Lu Chen took off his coat, hung it on the hanger, tugged at the tie around his neck, and then sat on the sofa.
He raised his hand and rubbed his brow bone with his eyes closed.
Seeing how tired he was, Jin Huahua quietly got up and went to the kitchen to get a glass of honey water.
"Drink some, you'll feel better."
Jin Huahua handed over the cup of water.
Lu Chen opened his eyes and took the cup of water, "Thank you."
Jin Huahua pursed her lips, sat back in her previous seat, and watched him finish his drink quietly.
Lu Chen felt a little uncomfortable being stared at by her like this.
"What's up?"
Lu Chen asked.
He couldn't fail to see that Jin Huahua was waiting for him.
Jin Huahua nodded, then looked around, and finally her eyes fixed on Lu Chen.
"I plan to move out tomorrow."
Jin Huahua had hesitated about this decision for a long time.
Since Lu Chen likes Gu Xiaoxiao, and she is now able to move out and live on her own, there is no reason for her to stay here any longer.
"Moving out? Why so suddenly? Have you found a house?"
