Chapter 115 Yinglong Crystal

"Senior brother, these mosquitoes have mutated. Are all mosquitoes in the cultivation world this big?" Jiang Wanwan asked in confusion.

Upon hearing this, Old Xia, who was inside the space, immediately poked his head out and looked around. He had glasses on his nose and looked somewhat like a refined gentleman, but he also had a hint of scoundrel about him.

"NO! NO! NO! We don't have such a thing on our Flowing Light Continent. It's possible that this thing wasn't popular, so it was wiped out!" Elder Xia explained.

Jiang Wanwan looked at Xia Lao, who had recently become obsessed with role-playing, and couldn't help but twitch her lips. She thought to herself that it was a good thing that Brother Lin was in seclusion recently, otherwise these two would definitely pester her all day long with some boring questions.

For example, who is more attractive...

Yan Ziyan frowned as he looked at the enormous mosquitoes and said, "These mosquitoes are really not very likable. Wanwan, let's get rid of them!"

Jiang Wanwan nodded and took out the Han Guang Sword without hesitation, ready to deal with these annoying mosquitoes together with Yan Ziyan.

As soon as the two unleashed their auras, all the living creatures and animals around them felt a powerful pressure and scattered in all directions.

Even the swarm of mosquitoes that had just arrived so aggressively came to an abrupt halt, turned around, and fled, not daring to take another step closer.

"What...what's going on?" Yan Ziyan was stunned when he saw the army of mosquitoes suddenly turn around and flee.

"Senior brother, what are you standing there for? Hurry up and chase after them!" Just as Yan Ziyan was in a daze, Jiang Wanwan was already riding on the Han Guang Sword, closely following behind the mosquito army.

She was incredibly fast, as swift as lightning.

The two chased and slashed at the swarm of mosquitoes, their longswords flashing like a storm.

The mosquitoes didn't even have time to react before they were all cut down, blood splattering everywhere. The mosquitoes screamed in terror and desperately tried to escape, but they couldn't escape Jiang Wanwan and Yan Ziyan's pursuit.

Finally, the mosquito army was chased to the depths of an underground river, where the light was dim and the atmosphere was eerie and terrifying.

After a one-sided crushing defeat, the two men managed to cut down a hundred or so mosquitoes to the point that only two remained.

The two mosquitoes flapped their wings, their peanut-sized compound eyes revealing fear and despair. They stared intently at Jiang Wanwan and Yan Ziyan, as if begging for mercy.

"Don't kill us! We're male mosquitoes, we don't hurt people! We don't drink blood! We only eat grass! Waaah..."

Suddenly, a pitiful cry rang out, as if it were tearing one's eardrums apart. Jiang Wanwan looked around in panic, her gaze finally settling on the two mosquitoes in front of her.

They were emitting mournful cries, as if they were suffering immense pain and torment.

A surge of curiosity welled up in Jiang Wanwan's heart, and she couldn't help but move closer to observe it more closely.

These two giant mosquitoes look quite peculiar; their mouthparts are facing downwards, like two dejected captives.

Their forelegs were supporting each other, as if encouraging each other, and their fluffy antennae on their heads were trembling incessantly.

Seeing this, Jiang Wanwan couldn't help but find it a little funny, thinking that these two big guys were quite pitiful.

So she said to Yan Ziyan, "Senior brother, why don't we let these two big guys go? They said they don't suck blood, they only eat grass!"

Yan Ziyan had no objection to this; he nodded slightly in agreement.

Hearing their conversation, the two mosquitoes were overjoyed, as if they had received a pardon. They quickly and carefully scrambled up the rocks by the underground river, turning back every few steps as if afraid of being harmed again.

Once it had a firm footing, it spread its wings and flew away quickly.

That's terrifying! That's brutal!

The two mosquitoes realized how terrifying humans could be. They decided that they would always warn their fellow mosquitoes to stay away from these ferocious two-legged creatures.

Yan Ziyan watched the surging underground river beneath his feet with wary eyes. A group of piranhas were staring at them menacingly, their dense numbers sending chills down his spine.

He was just about to leave with Jiang Wanwan when he suddenly caught a glimpse of a white light flashing in the water out of the corner of his eye, which instantly caught his attention.

"Wanwan, wait a minute, look at what's that underwater?" Yan Ziyan quickly grabbed Jiang Wanwan and pointed to the water below the surface.

"Huh, what's that?" Jiang Wanwan looked in the direction Yan Ziyan pointed and was surprised to find a white, glowing stone in the vacuum zone of the piranhas, flashing with a mysterious light.

Just then, Old Xia suddenly appeared from the void, adjusting his glasses, holding a book in his hand, and reading aloud with a serious expression:

"Yinglong Crystal is a legendary existence. It is a companion stone left behind by dragons after their ascension, containing one-third of the dragon race's power."

Upon hearing Elder Xia's explanation, Jiang Wanwan and Yan Ziyan exchanged a glance, their hearts filled with doubt.

"This thing is useless to us!" Jiang Wanwan couldn't help but say, looking at Old Xia's flashy outfit.

"How could it be useless? As long as you can comprehend even a tiny bit of the power of the Great Dao from it, your cultivation will be greatly improved, and you may even be able to easily defeat cultivators of the same level," Elder Xia explained patiently.

"That's amazing! We'll have to use some tricks to snatch food from the fish's mouth!"

Jiang Wanwan stood on the shore and looked down. The piranhas, like cats that had smelled fish, jumped out of the water one after another.

"Huh! That red one has actually reached the Great Perfection of Qi Refining!"

Jiang Wanwan, holding Yan Ziyan's arm, pointed to the red, fat piranha not far away.

Yan Ziyan looked at the plump, pink fingers on his arm, his eyes darkening slightly. He cleared his throat and said:

"There's a reason why no one dares to come to this deep forest. These fish aren't very powerful, but what's troublesome are their sharp teeth, which can break through the defenses of a Golden Core cultivator! The main problem is that they're not just one, but a whole group, making them impossible to defend against!"

"Senior brother, how did you know?" Jiang Wanwan asked curiously.

Yan Ziyan chuckled softly and said, "Knowing I was coming here, I asked my master for a book about the Flowing Light Continent and took a look at it."

Jiang Wanwan gave him a thumbs-up, her eyes full of approval.

Yan Ziyan felt a little embarrassed by Jiang Wanwan's gaze, and a blush rose on his face.

He coughed lightly to conceal his inner joy and continued, "We must be careful with these piranhas and not let them get close to us."

Jiang Wanwan nodded gently, indicating that she understood how dangerous these piranhas were, and the two began to discuss countermeasures.

"How about we go get some spirit beast meat? Then you can hang them up with ropes to attract the attention of those piranhas, so I can take the opportunity to go down and get that stone," Jiang Wanwan suggested.

"No, that's too dangerous!" Yan Ziyan refused without hesitation.

"What if you get attacked by those piranhas? And even if you successfully obtain the Yinglong Crystal, you might still get injured!"

His tone was full of worry and concern.
