Chapter Fourteen
Xia Zhi and Meng Ziyue quickly arrived at the cafeteria, which was crowded. Everyone was somewhat shocked to see Meng Ziyue.
Meng Ziyue noticed the gazes of the crowd and couldn't help but frown.
Xia Zhi followed behind Meng Ziyue, and because there were so many people, they almost got separated. Suddenly, a hand grabbed Xia Zhi's hand. Xia Zhi was slightly startled, and when she saw Meng Ziyue turn around, she smiled and said, "We'll get separated later."

Soon, the two finished getting their food and found a seat by the window.
Xia Zhi looked at the meager soup in Meng Ziyue's bowl and was a little annoyed. "Is that all you have?"
Meng Ziyue had a bit of a headache. "I don't have an appetite for these things."
Xia Zhi couldn't help but joke, "It's really tough on someone as picky as you."

The two finished eating quickly, and Xia Zhi prepared to return to her dormitory. Before leaving, she looked at Meng Ziyue sincerely and said, "Thank you for having dinner with me."
Meng Ziyue chuckled, "It's okay, aren't we good friends?"
Xia Zhi smiled and nodded, "Yes."
Xia Zhi quickly turned and left. After taking a few steps, she noticed that Meng Ziyue was still standing there. She looked back and felt that Meng Ziyue's gaze was strange.
There was a feeling she couldn't quite put her finger on... Xia Zhi tried hard to shake off the thought. Meng Ziyue had been very kind today; despite being a picky eater, he was still willing to go to the cafeteria with her.
She had just returned to her dorm when she received a text message from Lin Yue.
Lin Yue's text message reads: "Senior, do you have class this afternoon? I'd like to invite you to dinner."
Xia Zhi glanced at the location she sent; it was a restaurant in the city center. So expensive, could Lin Yue afford it?
Xia Zhi was a little worried, so she replied to the other party: How about we find a more affordable place?
The reply came quickly: Senior, I can afford it. I have a part-time job.
Xia Zhi had no choice but to agree.
Since she didn't have any classes in the afternoon, she took a short nap and then prepared to leave. She took a taxi there, and although it had stopped raining in the afternoon, the floor was still a little wet.
She arrived at the restaurant quickly.

Xia Zhi felt a chill run down her spine as she looked into his eyes, which held a hidden glint of light.
How did he end up here?
Xu Yu said casually, "Zhizhi, come and have afternoon tea."
Xia Zhi quickly realized, "That's right! Lin Yue choosing such an expensive place is definitely suspicious! Someone must be behind this!"
She sighed silently to herself. Since she was already here, and if she left directly, Xu Yu might threaten Lin Yue.
So she chose to sit opposite Lin Yue. As soon as she sat down, she heard Xu Yu smirk and say, "Sit opposite me, Zhizhi."
Xia Zhi stared at him, thinking to herself that he wasn't even pretending anymore and was now giving orders directly!
She could only stand up and then sit down opposite Xu Yu.
Lin Yue looked at Xia Zhi with a bit of guilt. Xu Yu had approached her this morning and said that if she didn't agree to his plan, she would be forced to drop out of school.
Lin Yue didn't want to provoke these glamorous figures at the top of the pyramid, so she could only reluctantly agree.

Xia Zhi looked at Xu Yu with some annoyance. Xu Yu had become a different person these days, or rather, he had just shown his true colors.
Xu Yu tapped the table with one hand, making a rhythmic sound that made everyone tense.
Xu Yu didn't speak, but Xia Zhi took the initiative to ask, "Lin Yue, are those people who bullied you before in jail?"
Lin Yue nodded, "Yes, their actions were rather egregious."
Xia Zhi nodded, "It's good that you're alright."
The two looked at each other and smiled.
Xu Yu suddenly stopped banging, subconsciously gripped the back of Lin Yue's chair, and then said calmly, "Lin Yue, have you forgotten something?"
Lin Yue glanced at him with a hint of fear upon hearing this, then lowered her voice, which trembled slightly, "Senior, you...have you eaten...would you like to go somewhere?"
Xia Zhi looked at Xu Yu and frowned. "You can tell me directly. You don't need to threaten Lin Yue."
