Chapter Fifteen
Soon the desserts and snacks were served, and Lin Yue looked at the cake in front of her, feeling a little tempted.
Xu Yu pushed the cake in front of Lin Yue with a half-smile, "Eat it, this is for you, to thank you for helping me."
Looking at the fragrant and soft cake in front of her, Lin Yue suddenly found it hard to swallow.

Xia Zhi looked at Lin Yue, then at the pile of snacks in front of her, and finally gave in and took a small piece of potato cake.
Xu Yu watched them eat, but didn't touch the food himself.
Xia Zhi ignored him and just ate quietly.
Xu Yu stared at her and suddenly said, "I didn't eat lunch."
Xia Zhi was puzzled by his outburst, so she asked in return, "Why aren't you eating?"
Xu Yu's voice sounded a little aggrieved, "Because there's one less person, I can't eat."
Xia Zhi sneered, "Meng Ziyue is missing, is that it? Next time I'll definitely make him eat at the villa."
Xu Yu choked, his eyes fixed on Xia Zhi. "Are you really going to pretend you're deaf and dumb?"
Xia Zhi looked at him and sighed helplessly, "You said to go to the usual place, so let's just go. I'll do whatever you say."
Sensing the reluctance in Xia Zhi's tone, Xu Yu wasn't angry. Instead, he smiled and said, "You'll be surprised."
Xia Zhi looked at him, puzzled. "Shall we leave now?"
Xu Yu hummed in agreement, then looked at Lin Yue beside him, "I've already paid, you can eat here."
Lin Yue was a little worried about Xia Zhi and subconsciously looked at Xia Zhi.
Xia Zhi shook her head, indicating that she was not worried, "I'm fine."
Xia Zhi stood up and followed Xu Yu outside. Xu Yu seemed to have made preparations in advance, as he had parked a Maybach outside the restaurant.
Xu Yu gestured for Xia Zhi to get in the car. "Let's go."
Xia Zhi was feeling helpless and was about to sit in the back row when Xu Yu's cold voice rang out, "Sit in the front row."
Xia Zhi hesitated for a moment, but ultimately sat down in the front row. She was indeed starting to wonder what kind of "old place" Xu Yu had mentioned, and what could possibly be inside.
Xu Yu started the car, looked at Xia Zhi, and deliberately said, "Fasten your seatbelt. You don't need my help with this, do you?"
Xia Zhi quickly fastened her seatbelt and said irritably, "You can drive now."
Xu Yu chuckled softly and placed his hands on the steering wheel. The car quickly drove onto the road, and Xu Yu casually put on a song—an English song.
The English song was soothing and pleasant to listen to, but Xia Zhi wasn't in the mood to listen to it.
Xu Yu said slowly, "Don't you want to rest for a while?"
Xia Zhi said coldly, "I can't sleep in your car, I'm afraid you'll hurt me."
Xu Yu chuckled and said, "I'd hurt you? I'd love you more than anything."
Xia Zhi: ...Then you might as well hurt me.
The car quickly stopped in front of a villa, and Xia Zhi finally understood where their "old place" was. She vaguely remembered this villa; it was a joint venture they had bought to live together.
Xu Yu quickly gestured for Xia Zhi to get out of the car. "Get out of the car."
Xia Zhi had never been to this place before. Looking at the villa, she felt a vague unease for some reason. She quickly recalled the time Xu Yu had forced himself on her, so she tried to say, "Why did you bring me here? Are you going to...?"
Xu Yu said with a half-smile, "No, I just want you to see some things clearly."

However, she nodded and followed Xu Yu into the villa. Pushing open the door, Xia Zhi saw that the interior was neatly furnished, no different from an ordinary villa.

Xia Zhi could only follow Xu Yu into the house. There were three rooms on the first floor of the villa. Xu Yu opened one of the rooms first and chuckled, "This is Meng Ziyue's room."
Xia Zhi was taken aback upon hearing this, then pushed open the door and entered. As she walked in, her eyes widened instinctively, because the room was covered with her photos. Most of these were taken from candid angles, clearly from angles Xia Zhi hadn't realized were wrong.
She hadn't expected Meng Ziyue to take pictures of her secretly. After all, in her opinion, Meng Ziyue's affection for her was only temporary and not genuine.
Xia Zhi was taken aback by his madness and stood there, her body stiffening.
Xu Yu sneered, "Do you still dare to be friends with him? He's more terrifying than you think. Be careful, he'll take advantage of your feigned innocence and devour you completely."
Xia Zhi remained silent for a long time before looking at Xu Yu. "Why did you suddenly want me to discover these things?"
Xu Yu blinked innocently, "I just wanted you to see him clearly."
Xia Zhi took a deep breath. "I've finished reading. Can I leave now? Don't threaten Lin Yue again next time."
Xu Yu leaned against the wall, arms crossed, and said calmly, "You want to leave? Sure."
This time, Xu Yu didn't stop her. Instead, he watched her leave with a half-smile and suddenly reminded her, "Don't forget what you saw today."
Xia Zhi walked out of the villa, feeling as if she had survived a disaster.
She recalled all the moments she shared with Meng Ziyue, and it was true that he had accommodated her the most. So... was he really infatuated with her?
Xia Zhi felt a chill run down her spine just thinking about all those photos from different angles in his room.
It seems we need to stay away from these three people; none of them can be trusted.
Xia Zhi sighed helplessly. Fortunately, Xu Yu was merciful today and didn't make things too difficult for her.
Just as she was about to call a taxi to go home, she suddenly received a call from Lin Yue.
