This was the first time in Chen Cixiu's life that he had sat in a field with his wife by a stream, watching the fish swim in the water.
Not far away, several children were holding bamboo poles with fishing lines and hooks attached. They were tearing the earthworms they had caught in half by hand and hanging them on the hooks.
The earthworm struggled on the fishing hook before being thrown into the water. A small piece of styrofoam was tied to the fishing line. The small fish kept touching the half-earthworm at the bottom, causing ripples to spread on the surface of the water.
The setting sun in the distance shone on the water, making it sparkle.
Chen Cixiu saw a child riding on the back of a water buffalo. The buffalo seemed to be used to having a child riding on its back, walking slowly like an old horse that knew the way. It didn't need the child's rope to pull it; it knew where to go.
A dragonfly flew low and landed on a haystack directly in front of him. Chen Cixiu took out his phone and took a picture.

The sound of a fishing line being pulled out of the water reached my ears, and a fish, whose species I couldn't quite make out, suddenly flew towards the back of the fishing child.
The child ran over excitedly and grabbed him.
He shouted, "It's a catfish!"
They were very excited and rushed over to see what it was. It was a catfish that was so big that even the children's hands couldn't hold it.
Chen Cixiu said to Jiang Yu, "I suddenly realized that my childhood seemed to have less fun compared to theirs."
Jiang Yu said quietly, "But your childhood is probably a dream they can never catch up with in their entire lives."
Chen Cixiu shut his mouth.
That's absolutely right.
His family is carefree, but that doesn't mean other families' children are too.

As they passed the child riding the water buffalo, Chen Cixiu asked, "May I ride it?"
The child was shy and didn't say anything, but he still got off the water buffalo and asked, "Can you climb up?"
Chen Cixiu felt that the child was looking down on him, but he soon discovered that the buffalo's back was slippery and he couldn't get on.
"Okay, forget it."
Jiang Yu told him not to force himself.
Chen Cixiu shook his head helplessly and took out a small red envelope from his pocket. "Thank you, little friend."
The child shook his head, refusing the red envelope, pressed his hands against the cow's rump, and jumped up with all his might, so he was up there nimbly.
Chen Cixiu looked at Jiang Yu and felt very hurt.
"Don't come near me now."
Jiang Yu told him to stay away.
Although he didn't smell, he had rubbed against the cow's back a few times.
"You've changed, sister."
Chen Cixiu began to act.
Jiang Yu quickened his pace.
As the sky turned from bright to gray, a few stars quietly climbed onto the treetops, and the moon peeked out, the two of them playfully made their way home.

Jiang Zemin, defying convention, directly asked his father-in-law to pour him some wine.
Grandpa didn't mind and poured him some wine.
"Don't throw up later, kid."
As if knowing his drinking capacity, the grandfather gave him some advice.
"Dad, you're underestimating me, aren't you? Besides, when have you ever seen me throw up when we're drinking together?"
