Chapter 301 Jiang Yu Takes Care of Chen Cixiu

"Dad, Mom? Why are you both here?"

Jiang Yu was taken aback when all four parents appeared at the same time.

It hasn't been that long, and you've arrived so quickly.

Chen Cixiu was still under the effects of the anesthesia.

"Yuyu, what's going on?"

Professor Wu is still in shock, and his voice is still trembling.

"Mom, it's okay. It's just an appendix. The doctor said I can stay in the hospital for a few days and then I can be discharged."

Jiang Yu quickly said.

"Let's go in and take a look."

Ms. Liu Xian was also very worried. After she said something, her parents came in one after another and saw Chen Cixiu lying on the hospital bed.

Chen Cixiu just watched them; the anesthesia hadn't worn off yet, so he could only watch them.

"Son, how are you? Is everything alright?"

"Xiao Xiu, how are you feeling? Tell us about it."

Both mothers looked at Chen Cixiu and asked.

Chen Cixiu's speech was somewhat unclear.

But Jiang Yu seemed to understand and helped translate, "It's alright, you two don't need to worry, please sit down first."

Professor Wu and Ms. Liu Xian both breathed a sigh of relief after sitting down.

Upon hearing that Chen Cixiu had fainted, I almost lost my mind.

How could someone who was perfectly healthy suddenly faint?

And he's a young man, only twenty-three years old this year.

On the plane, Professor Wu had a lot of wild thoughts. She considered all sorts of bad news and even prepared herself mentally.

It's nothing more than asking her old classmates for help. Even if they're unwilling to help, she could beg them on her knees.

Moreover, there are her parents' students and classmates. In short, if any problems really arise, she must use all her connections. Even those who have grudges against her, she would kneel and kowtow three times and nine times to save her son.

Fortunately, it was just the appendix, not some other disease.

After Jiang Yu sat down, Professor Chen and President Jiang remained as calm as ever. After all, they were the pillars of their families and could stand firm in critical moments.

They asked Jiang Yu why she suddenly fainted because of appendicitis.

They couldn't understand what Chen Cixiu meant because he spoke unclearly, so they simply asked Jiang Yu.

But when I asked Jiang Yu, she couldn't smell anything either.

Jiang Yu can only recount what happened today.

The two fathers were very perceptive. Professor Chen said, "Son, didn't you pay attention when you were in pain?"

Chen Cixiu mumbled something, and Professor Chen turned his gaze to Jiang Yu.

Jiang Yu explained, "He probably thought it was just a stomachache and didn't pay attention to it."

Chen Cixiu blinked.

“Cixiu, this person’s body belongs to themselves, not someone else’s. Besides, you have a family. You must always remember that you’re married now. Even if you’re not responsible for yourself, you should at least think about my daughter. You can’t just ignore every problem as a simple minor ailment. Do you know that many people end up dying because they don’t take things seriously…”

I thought it would be the two mothers nagging, but it turned out to be the father-in-law who was nagging.

Jiang Yu could only shrug and give him a sympathetic look.

That look seemed to say, "Good luck to you."

Clearly, President Jiang also received the same kind of education from his predecessor, President Jiang.

Talkative and incessant.

After hearing that he had started educating his child, Ms. Liu Xian looked at Professor Wu and Professor Chen and found that neither of her in-laws took it seriously. It was good to have someone to educate the child.

But it doesn't sound very good here either.

They were about to leave when they suddenly saw someone come in.

It turned out that there was another patient in the bed next door.

The patient is a child.

Chen Cixiu also owes a debt of gratitude to this little angel, which finally calmed President Jiang down.

"Mom and Dad, it's late. Why don't you go back first? There's no room for so many people here. I'll stay here. Dad, why don't you go to the hotel where I'm staying and get another room?"

Jiang Yu said to President Jiang.

Wherever President Jiang goes, as long as he stands there and makes a phone call, the hotel will have rooms available even if there are none.

As for why this happens, it can only be said that hotel rooms cannot be fully booked every time.

"Alright, Old Chen, Mother-in-law, let's go, don't disturb Cixiu's rest."

Jiang nodded, then spoke to Professor Chen.

"Okay, Yuyu, if anything happens, just call Mom."

Jiang Yu immediately replied, "Yes, don't worry, it's alright."

Jiang Yu saw the four parents off from the hospital and then returned home.

Chen Cixiu blinked at her.

"Want some water?"

He blinked.

Jiang Yu said, "The doctor said you can't drink water yet, you can only moisten your lips."

She moistened his lips with a cotton swab.

Then he sat down and looked at him, and the more he looked, the more relieved he felt.

Chen Cixiu's eyes were filled with apology.

As a pampered young lady, when has she ever taken such good care of anyone? Now she's staying up all night to take care of herself.

Outside the hospital.

Mr. Jiang, who had already prepared the car, suddenly heard Professor Wu's words.

"Hey, Brother Jiang, Sister Xian, Lao Chen and I are going somewhere. You guys go to the hotel first, so you don't need to book our rooms. We have other arrangements."

Professor Wu said.

"Hmm? Do you know anyone here?"

Old Jiang asked, puzzled.

"You should go see Yue Zehao."

Ms. Liu Xian already understood what they meant.

Professor Wu nodded. "Yes, we haven't seen him in a long time either. Now that we're here, we naturally have to go and see him."
