Chapter 8 Change of Mind

Li Yirou felt frustrated when she saw that asking questions was useless. Then she couldn't help feeling hungry and thought to herself that she was in so much trouble. Her face turned slightly red and she felt a little embarrassed.

Minjing then realized that people need to eat before building their foundation, and this was her negligence.

He searched in his storage bag, tossed a small bottle to Li Yirou, and said briefly, "Bigu Pill, take it."

"If you want to relieve yourself, just leave this spiritual energy formation. Remember to go and come back quickly."

After saying that, he closed his eyes and concentrated on practicing.

Li Yirou closed her mouth, poured out two round pills, and ate one herself.

He smacked his lips and found it had an earthy taste, but it was a small piece and melted in his mouth after a while. In the original owner's memory, he had used even more disgusting things to fill his stomach, so this was nothing.

Then she secretly stuffed one into Taxue's backpack, and Taxue licked it and ate it.

Minjing had already used her spiritual sense to find out that she had secretly brought small animals, but she did not stop her. After all, she only had five spiritual roots and was destined to have no hope of becoming an immortal, so it didn't hurt to have more fun.

If he is a good seedling, she will have to give him some advice. But as for the five spiritual roots, forget it. There is no need to waste each other's time.

After the pill dissolved, Li Yiru felt like she had had a full meal. She no longer felt hungry or thirsty.

Since she came to this world, she has seen many things beyond scientific common sense, especially the shock brought by these monks today. Now she can calmly accept all the unusual things.

Suddenly, Taxue was no longer obedient and quickly crawled out from the cloth covering the backpack. Li Yirou was worried that its meowing would disturb the real people, so she quickly covered its mouth and carried it out of the formation.

Taxue sighed but didn't say anything until she let go of his hand, ran forward a few steps anxiously, squatted in the grass, and showed her the back of his hairy head.

Then a rustling sound was heard, and the little body shook a few times.

Li Yirou...

She was numb from holding it in and was too nervous. It seemed like she should solve some personal problems.

Also, is this little guy Taxue really an ordinary kitten? I always feel that he is ridiculously smart.

Normally, he would at least meow in response to her, but today, it seemed as if it knew it shouldn't make a sound and was as quiet as a chicken the whole way.

After finishing the major event in her life, Li Yiru put Taxue on her shoulders and picked up a few large leaves nearby.

When I returned to the spiritual energy formation, the original location was a blank expanse of sand. I was clearly right here! It was clearly a large, softly glowing barrier!

Li Yiru was suddenly panicked. This was an isolated island in the sea!

Wouldn't Minjing abandon her?!

She ran forward two steps in panic, and suddenly saw that Master Minjing was still sitting there meditating, not even a hair had changed.

Taking a step back, she couldn't see her anymore. Li Yiru immediately thought that maybe this spiritual array had a concealing function, and people outside the light array couldn't see inside.

It was amazing, such a sense of security! Li Yirou couldn't wait to start practicing so that she could be like her, able to do anything.

It's a pity that her spiritual roots don't seem to be very good, but she can still learn some basics.

With beautiful hopes, Li Yirou had a sound sleep on the sand covered with leaves.

As soon as she woke up the next day, Master Minjing opened her eyes in time and ended her cultivation.

She didn't sleep all night, Li Yirou was secretly amazed.

"We need to travel a little faster today, so just be patient." She reminded him and said nothing more. She took Li Yiru on the flying sword and flew until late at night before stopping.

In the evening, Li Yirou noticed that the scenery below her feet was no longer the unchanging ocean, and she finally saw green land.

Even before she started practicing, she could clearly feel that the air was getting fresher and fresher.

The wind was blowing in the sky, but she found that she was becoming more and more comfortable in this environment. She felt that every breath she took could help her live a few more years.

Maybe this is the difference in the world of cultivation. After all, this is a world where one can achieve enlightenment and become an immortal.

After landing, Li Yirou saw that every blade of grass and every tree was shrouded in a soft yellow-green light, the calls of various animals were harmonious and melodious, and a faint blue mist was floating above the water. Everything was hazy and soft, like a fairyland.

"The spiritual energy in the cultivation world is incomparable to that in the mortal world, so the scenery is more beautiful, but also more dangerous."

Minjing saw that she was in a daze and kindly explained a few words to her, "Go over there and relieve yourself quickly. Once I have set up the spiritual energy formation, don't go out."

She pointed to a small patch of grass beside a big tree not far away. She had used her spiritual sense to explore the area and knew there should be no danger.

Li Yirou did as she was told, stepped out of the backpack and took care of the important matter of her life not far away from her. After finishing, she buried it with her claws.

As she was pulling up her pants, Taxue suddenly looked up and meowed at her, her voice filled with warning and anxiety.

Minjing's consciousness just realized something was wrong a second ago, and her natal spirit sword had already flown out.

In the blink of an eye, Li Yirou saw the flying sword coming towards her at high speed. She had no time to react. With a "clang" sound, the magic sword cut a deep wound in the tree behind her.

Minjing flew down beside her and asked softly, "Are you okay?"

Li Yirou was stunned, and suddenly felt a little pain on her face. She touched it with her fingertips and found a tiny wound caused by the magic sword.

Looking back, I saw a group of small spiders lying on the ground. They were colorful and looked very poisonous. Some of them were not seriously injured and were still struggling to escape.

If it weren't for the real person's sword, the group of little spiders would have already fallen on her.

"Don't be afraid, they are just some poisonous spiders of no rank." Minjing saw her staring at the poisonous spiders on the ground motionlessly, and she was afraid that she was scared to death.

"Don't worry, the sect has protective formations, and ordinary monsters can't get in." She comforted her a few words. After all, she was just a little girl from the mortal world, and perhaps she had never seen such danger. It would not be good for her to be scared on the way.

Li Yiru felt a surge of fear. It turned out that in the world of cultivation, one could lose one's life if one was not careful. She quickly changed her mind. She didn't want anything like being able to do anything. Saving her life was the most important thing!

Since I don’t have any spiritual roots, I might as well stay in the sect, stay away from danger, and cook for the big guys honestly until I die of old age.

Li Yirou picked up Taxue and hid in the spiritual energy formation. She was still frightened and looked around nervously.

"It's okay, there's a spiritual energy formation protecting us, so the monsters can't get in."

Li Yiru smiled at her embarrassedly and finally felt relieved.

"Master, did you make this spiritual energy array yourself?" She also wanted to make one, but she didn't know if the silver and money in the space were enough.

"The array plate is a spiritual weapon, and you have to learn how to refine it before you can make it. I'm not good at this, so I bought it from a refiner." Minjing was going to take a short break before practicing, so he answered a few of her questions.

"How much does a formation plate like this cost, Master?"

Min Jing was slightly stunned. This was the bad thing about being born in the mortal world. They didn't even know the basic common sense of the cultivation world.
