Yao Tongjia's hand was linked with Ruan Shengpeng's arm. Ruan Shengpeng showed no resistance, but looked at Yao Tongjia tenderly, which made Ruan Tian's eyes even redder.

Ruan Tian reached out to hit Yao Tongjia, but was pulled back by the guards and handcuffed to a chair.
Ruan Tian struggled violently, the handcuffs cutting into her wrists until they bled, but she seemed oblivious to the pain.
After Yao Tongjia lowered her hand, she leaned back in her chair. Ruan Shengpeng asked with some concern, "Are you alright?"
Yao Tongjia shook her head: "It's nothing!"
This scene deeply pierced Ruan Tian's heart. She also longed for such meticulous care, so why had no one ever given it to her?
"Why can't you show me any love just because I'm not your daughter? But I'm your niece, your sister's daughter, why can't you show me any love?"
Faced with Ruan Tian's questioning, Ruan Shengpeng replied directly: "Because I feel nauseous whenever I see you. You are just like your mother, selfish and self-serving!"

"You didn't know? You didn't know you would send someone to kill us? And you did it through Grandpa's connections. I still remember the scar on that person's face!"
Yao Tongjia rested her elbows on the armrests of the chair and spoke leisurely. Ruan Shengpeng turned his head and looked at Yao Tongjia in surprise. The question he wanted to ask lingered in his throat, but he swallowed it down.
"I didn't, I really didn't send anyone to kill your sister. Sister, I know I was wrong, please let me go! I was just blinded by greed, I was just too jealous of you!"
"What are you jealous of? You've used my identity and lived a good life for over a decade. What are you not satisfied with?"
“If you had studied hard and used your grandfather’s status to get a job, what difference would it make if I came back? It’s just a pity that you spend all your time on underhanded ways.”
"In the end, she even wanted to send herself to an old man's bed. How pathetic!"
"What do you know? What do you know? If I don't try my best to please that old woman at home, do you think she'll actually treat me well?"
"That old woman only loves herself. She loves me only because I provide her with emotional value. Otherwise, why would she abandon her own granddaughter and only like me?"
