Chapter 297 Unconscious

They were about to rush to the training field when the person who had just come to call them shouted, "They've already been sent to the hospital, but the medical staff here are too afraid to treat them."

These words made Yao Tongjia and He Jiayin's hearts sink. The two of them ran back to He Jiayin's car. Xiao Gengwu just ran to the car, and then a gust of wind blew by, and all three of them disappeared.

Ruan Shengpeng half-carried Yao Yanxin out, only to inhale a mouthful of car exhaust fumes. He could only say to the soldier from earlier, "Have someone drive me over here!"

They arrived at the hospital in a flash. Yao Tongjia jumped out of the car, forgetting all about motion sickness, and just ran forward. However, He Jiayin, who had parked the car, ran much faster than her.

Yao Tongjia and the other two rushed to the emergency room in a panic. When they saw two people covered in blood lying on the bed, they suddenly couldn't move their feet. Were they still alive?

He Jiayin was unusually vulnerable; her hand supporting Yao Tongjia trembled slightly. This was her younger brother whom she had raised single-handedly. As her hand trembled, Yao Tongjia's hand also trembled.

The two were shaking so badly they couldn't tell whose hands were trembling. Their hands and feet felt incredibly heavy, so heavy they could barely take a step! Xiao Gengwu quickly went over, touched their necks, and turned back: "Still alive!"

These words put the two older sisters at ease. As long as the person was still alive, everything would be alright!

Regardless of the circumstances, Yao Tongjia insisted on treating Yao Tongxu. He Jiayin and Xiao Gengwu exchanged a glance, quickly pulled the curtain closed, and then each of them stood guard at one end of the curtain.

Yao Tongjia examined Yao Tongxu starting from his head and found that he had a head injury that caused him to fall into a coma. He saw that the curtain was drawn and that He Jiayin and Xiao Gengwu were also there to watch over him.

Yao Tongjia pinched her unlucky younger brother's mouth shut and poured the spiritual spring water down his throat. Of course, fearing the effects would be too miraculous, she only gave him a little bit to drink.

She then went to check on He Jiale in the next bed and saw that he had the same injury. She then gave He Jiale the spiritual spring water in the same way.

After giving them the spiritual spring water, she calmly examined the rest of their bodies and found that everything else was fine, except for fractures in their hands and feet.

Yao Tongjia finally felt relieved. As long as it wasn't a broken rib, these were all minor injuries!

Before Yao Tongjia could even catch her breath, she heard a voice roar, "Who drew the curtain? What are you doing in there?"

As she was about to rush over, He Jiayin wouldn't let her pull the curtain open. She went over to stop her, but Yao Tongjia pulled the curtain open instead.

Seeing Yao Tongjia inside, the attending physician seemed even angrier: "What are you, a young girl, doing with two patients while pulling the curtain?"

Yao Tongjia knew it was their duty: "They are my family members, and I'm also a medical student. I just gave them a check-up so I can feel at ease!"

The attending physician looked Yao Tongjia up and down, but Yao Tongjia ignored the scrutiny and met He Jiayin's worried gaze. She walked over and said, "I'm all set, I'm fine!"

Hearing Yao Tongjia say that her brother was alright, He Jiayin felt relieved and was able to focus on handling the aftermath.

However, the attending physician disagreed: "What do you know, young girl? They are seriously injured; they might become a vegetable!"

He Jiayin trusted Yao Tongjia the most, and when she heard her brother being spoken to like that, she immediately lost her composure: "You're the one who's become a vegetable, my brother will never become a vegetable!"

Just as the attending physician was about to say something, he saw He Jiayin glaring at him with a cold face. He immediately forgot what he was going to say. This woman had such a powerful aura that he chickened out!

He Jiayin looked at the battalion commander in charge of training with a stern face. The battalion commander turned around and saw He Jiayin, and was startled: "You, you're all here!"

His face was full of guilt and anxiety. He never expected that such a situation would occur in his training camp, especially with the children of two leaders involved. Was his future ruined?

He Jiayin's expression was stern: "What exactly happened?"

The battalion commander lowered his head, unsure of what to do with his hands: "I don't know the specifics either. Xiao Zhang, who was with them, ran over to call us, and that's how we found out that the two of them had an accident!"

Yao Tongjia could tell from her inspection that they had fallen from a height: "Did they fall from the mountain?"

The battalion commander nodded: "Yes, but we still need to ask Xiao Zhang about exactly how he fell! Xiao Zhang, tell us what you saw!"

Xiao Zhang was a short, delicate-looking man. His eyes darted around, glancing at Yao Tongjia and then at He Jiayin, as if he were judging who was more worthy of his flattery.

Just then, Ruan Shengpeng arrived with Yao Yanxin. Yao Yanxin was practically clinging to Ruan Shengpeng, and people around them were already pointing and whispering.

In this current climate, even married couples shouldn't be so intimate, and Yao Tongjia was worried it would have a negative impact on Ruan Shengpeng.

He walked over and half-carried Yao Yanxin from her father's arms, saying, "Mom's fine, just injured. She's alive. Don't you trust my medical skills? I'll do a few acupuncture treatments, and they'll wake up!"

Hearing her daughter's words, Yao Yanxin felt much relieved and regained her strength: "Help me go over and see!" Knowing that her child was alright, she still wanted to check on her to be at ease!

Ruan Shengpeng was also very anxious and was about to stride over to check on the two children when Xiao Zhang saluted him, so Ruan Shengpeng had no choice but to salute back.

Then you hear Xiao Zhang's ingratiating voice: "Commander, they accidentally fell off the cliff, and I went to call people to rescue them."

Ruan Shengpeng stopped and looked at Xiao Zhang, who was trying to take credit. His eyes were cold as he stared directly at Xiao Zhang: "Tell me the specifics of what happened!"

Xiao Zhang's hands and feet trembled slightly as Ruan Shengpeng stared at him: "They accidentally stepped on something and fell down!"

"What did you step on? How far away were you from them?" Ruan Shengpeng exuded an aura of authority, and Xiao Zhang stammered even more: "I, no, they kicked a tree stump and then flew out."

"I tried to pull them up, but I couldn't. I'm sorry, I tried my best!" Everyone watched Xiao Zhang's performance in silence, which made Xiao Zhang even more nervous!

Before Ruan Shengpeng could say anything, the battalion commander, unable to bear it any longer, said, "Division Commander, if he hadn't come back in time to call us to rescue them, they would probably be in danger!"

There are wild animals in the mountains. Even if they don't bleed to death, the smell of blood will attract wild animals, making their death even more humiliating.

Ruan Shengpeng didn't look at Xiao Zhang again. He quickly walked to the two children's bedside and asked Yao Tongjia anxiously, "Have you checked them? Are they alright?"

"Something's wrong. My arms and legs are broken, and I need to have my bones set!"

"What about other places?"

"They are unconscious, probably due to head injuries. I'll give them acupuncture after their bones are set, or maybe the pain from the bone setting will wake them up!"

Everyone: "......" You've got a really big heart!
