171 Mother and daughter reunite
Pei Yan glanced at Xie Yaoyao subconsciously and said, "Mrs. Chi, President Huo said that if you can't handle your family matters, you don't need to come to him."
Madam Chi pleaded in her eyes, "Secretary Pei, I just want to know where my biological daughter is."
Xie Yaoyao's heart skipped a beat.
She looked at Pei Yan, "Does Mr. Huo know the whereabouts of this lady's biological daughter?"

But he couldn't say it outright, so he only said, "President Huo has only one request: send Chi Wanwan away. If you can't do that, you won't know where the real Chi family's daughter is."

Xie Yaoyao said, "President Huo isn't here. Would it be inappropriate for me to wait for him in his office?"
Pei Yan couldn't help but chuckle, "If I make you wait for President Huo outside, he'll definitely fire me."
They have no sense of propriety at all.
Xie Yaoyao smiled. "Aren't you afraid I'll betray your company's secrets?"
"Teacher Xie, please don't joke. Anyone in this world could betray President Huo, but you are the only one who cannot."

Pei Yan said, "What President Huo keeps in mind will surely come to pass."
As they spoke, the two walked through the corridor and arrived at Huo Yanxi's office door.

As they walked along, many people in the president's office were sizing up Xie Yaoyao.

After Pei Yan brought Xie Yaoyao to the president's office and settled her in, employees surrounded him.

"Did they come together?"
He hasn't told Xie Yaoyao about her biological parents being found yet, and the Chi family is unlikely to come after her.
Pei Yan quickly said, "I met them downstairs, but they didn't come together."
"Where is Manman now?" Huo Yanxi breathed a slight sigh of relief and asked Xie Yaoyao.
"I asked Teacher Xie to wait for you in your office."
Huo Yanxi nodded. "Let's go see Madam Chi first."
After all, she was his future mother-in-law, so he couldn't just ignore her and treat her like that.
Pei Yan led the way, taking him to see Madam Chi.
Madam Chi had already drunk two cups of coffee and was wondering if Huo Yanxi was deliberately avoiding her when she saw him step into the reception room.
