Gu Yuheng suddenly realized that she wasn't kneeling on the keyboard at all; she was clearly kneeling on his heart, and on the most vulnerable part of his heart, which made him feel extremely heartbroken.
"Please stop kneeling, okay?"
"no."
"But you didn't do anything wrong."
Lin Chuxia pursed her lips, her long eyelashes trembled slightly, and then she said in a low voice, "I just said some very hurtful things."
"It's okay, that wasn't your intention." He didn't believe she would really be that cruel to him.
"But those words hurt you." Even though they were said in anger on impulse, they were still wrong.
"It was really tough." His heart broke as she spoke those heartless words with a blank expression. He felt like a fish out of water, with someone choking him to breathe.
“But I don’t blame you. Please get up,” Gu Yuheng said.
“No. You have to be punished for doing something wrong.” Lin Chuxia glanced at him and then said, “Don’t think that I will change just because I’m being punished now. If time could go back and we could do it all over again, I would still say the same thing.”
If she hadn't pressured him like that, he would never have given in. This man, sometimes, is so stubborn it's infuriating.
Gu Yuheng smiled nonchalantly: "It's fine, as long as you don't actually do it."
Lin Chuxia snorted, neither agreeing nor disagreeing.
"Wife, since you are being punished for making me suffer, shouldn't I get to decide what kind of punishment you receive?"
"No! I'm the one who calls the shots."
Gu Yuheng laughed and said, "Does our family also practice a dictatorship?"
Lin Chuxia glared at him fiercely: "What, is that not allowed? Given your history of going back on your word and lying, from today onwards, I'm in charge of this house, and you have no say!"
