He adjusted to a more comfortable position and asked, "This sphere is so small, what's so special about it?"
Ajahn said with apparent respect, “Your Majesty the Dragon King, the strongmen of our homeland once dominated with this item. It is a treasure that only the strongest can use. Unfortunately, I am just a small and weak human. Such a treasure can only be left to gather dust in my hands.”
"I once heard a legend on the continent that there is a magical treasure in the world called the Dragon Ball. It is the most precious treasure of the dragon race. Collecting the Dragon Ball can summon the dragon, and the dragon can grant any wish. Moreover, the most inconspicuous aspect of this treasure is that it can cause gold to gradually grow in the surrounding land!"
"Your Majesty the Dragon King, I don't know if this legend is true or false. Please use your wisdom to examine it."
The Red Dragon King finally became interested upon hearing this. It could tell that the human was telling the truth, which made it even more shocked.
These are mysterious items from a faraway land, so they deserve to be part of my collection.
"Human, what is your wish? In exchange, I will grant it for you."
Ajahn was overjoyed, feeling that half of his plan was complete.
Then she bowed and said, “Dragon King, I need your help. When I am in mortal danger, I would like to ask you to intervene. Perhaps you will not even need your dragon language magic, as those bad guys will be too scared to resist.”
The Red Dragon King put away the bead, swallowed it along with the box, and said, "This is a simple matter. I agree. Where is your home? We can go there now."
"Your Majesty the Dragon King, please allow me to explain. My hometown is in a very far place. I have a magic that allows me to arrive there instantly, but you need to sign a contract with me so that you can come with me."
The Red Dragon King narrowed his eyes, sensing that this human's motives were impure. After all, humans had many contracts that could bind other races and make them serve their purposes.
"Human, did you come here to deceive me into working for you?" His tone already carried the might of a dragon.
A-Jiang was stunned by the sudden voice and felt dizzy. After a while, he said, "Red dragons are one of the most powerful dragon races, and you are a Dragon King-level expert. Looking across the entire continent, who would dare to deceive you?"
Flattery will get you everywhere, and Ah Jiang felt the pressure lessen considerably.
So he continued, "You may have already noticed the difference in me."
She took off her cloak and faced the Dragon King in her original form.
Looking directly at it, it said, "I am not a human from this world. My presence here is a gift from the gods, allowing me to know you, the great king. Your Majesty, this contract will not bind your actions. On the contrary, it will allow you to see more scenery and witness the truth of the universe. This may be an opportunity for you to get closer to the gods."
Ajahn Chah spoke frankly and openly, and his words carried weight.
"If you need me to swear an oath to prove that what I said is true, then I can swear any oath to prove that I am not lying. And with your mental strength, breaking free from any contract would be very easy, wouldn't it?"
This last sentence struck a chord with the Red Dragon King. It may not have much else, but in terms of confidence, it is second to none among the dragons.
“I know you are a special human being, and I am very interested in you. I hope what you say is true, otherwise you will only turn into dust in the lava.”
"Yes, as you wish. Please tell me your name."
"I am Alreel, the King of Flames."
Ajahn released the White Ze Seal and imprinted it on the Dragon King's wings, which the Dragon King accepted without resistance.
Ajahn achieved his goal.
He said, "Your Majesty the Dragon King, I will go back and make some preparations. I will invite you to visit my world when the time is right."
"Good human, don't keep me waiting."
Ajahn then left this world.
After leaving the magical world, Ajahn arrived at the Lotus Space.
Two of the twelve lotus petals on the lotus platform have changed color. One has formed a red vortex with a dragon-shaped mark on it, and the other has formed a green vortex with a tree-shaped mark on it.
Ajahn was puzzled.
"Red Dragon strategy complete. I understand the changes to the passage gate, but why did these petals change as well? I haven't even been there yet."
In Ajahn Chah's opinion, these two petals must have been successfully captured to undergo such a change.
"Wait a minute, this tree looks familiar..."
Ah Jiang looked at the tree and fell into thought, but couldn't remember anything for a moment.
Once her mind returned to her cave, she suddenly realized that this was none other than the demon king Huaiye, who had insisted on becoming her disciple. Back then, this small tree had grown in the courtyard.
