This chaotic situation lasted for a long time before things calmed down a little.
When Ajahn regained his sight, he was already sitting on flat ground, and the previously steep and treacherous Five Finger Mountain had been completely shattered into dust.
A figure stood not far away with his back to Ah Jiang, his black robe fluttering wildly in the wind. Even just standing still, he exuded an aura of immense power.
It appeared to be the back view of a human male, not very tall, somewhat thin, and with black hair, unlike the fluffy monkey head we had seen before.
"Mr. Sun, is that you?"
Suddenly, the man looked up and let out a long, sharp roar that swept away the dust and sand that was swirling around him. The smoke and clouds dispersed, and the place became quiet and bright.
"Little girl, where do you live? Shall I take you home?"
Unlike the sharp, quirky voices I'd heard before, this was a very normal human male voice, somewhat low and husky, with a slightly unskilled quality.
Ajahn looked up at him. The edges of his black cloak with gold trim were torn, and his golden armor was quite dull. However, his upright figure and messy but shiny black hair exuded an aura of dominance, like a general who had experienced countless battles, looking down at his battlefield.
Ah Jiang felt very strange.
I can't quite explain it, but it feels very complicated.
"What’s wrong with you?"
He paused for a moment before replying:
"I was sealed away before, pressed down by that broken mountain for four hundred and ninety-nine years, forced to eat iron pellets when hungry and drink molten copper when thirsty... Now I have broken free of the seal, my magic power has been restored, and I know of the changes that have occurred in the past few hundred years..."
He remained silent, waiting for further developments.
Those who needed him were gone, and no one who remembered him was willing to let him out. The world hadn't changed, but for him, it had been completely transformed.
Ah Jiang didn't know what to say either; there's no such thing as true empathy in life.
But... 499 years, next year will be the end of his imprisonment, and Tang Monk will come next year, right?
But now, there are no mountains, no seals.
Did I unintentionally ruin something amazing?
Just as A-Jiang was in a state of utter confusion, he finally turned around.
Ah Jiang looked at him in surprise. The golden armor and cloak had been hidden, and he was dressed in a low-key black brocade outfit. He had an extraordinary aura, and he was actually wearing a mask!
He was wearing a brightly colored, exaggerated mask with a funny monkey face painted on it!
A-Jiang felt that the current situation was strange and uneasy. He thought that he should just give up and find other monsters to contract with later.
This level of demon king is still a stretch.
Just as Ajahn Chah turned around, two golden chains suddenly shot out from his body, burrowed into the ground beneath his feet, and emerged from under Sun Wukong's feet, binding his feet!
The time was very short, and neither of them expected such a thing to happen. Caught off guard, they were struck without warning!
The chains stirred on their own for a while and then disappeared. Ah Jiang felt a heat on his wrist, and when he lifted it up, he saw a golden chain-like tattoo. Presumably, his ankle had the same one.
He lowered his head and remained silent.
"I didn't do it, it has nothing to do with me, please don't misunderstand!"
"Haha...haha...hahahaha..."
He actually started laughing, his voice growing louder and louder until it made Ah Jiang bleed from all seven orifices.
Fortunately, he finally stopped, though it was laughter, it evoked a sense of profound desolation.
Just then, a majestic voice boomed out like a thunderclap from a clear sky.
"Who dares to cause trouble here?!"
The sound was followed by a huge figure clad in armor and wielding a large axe, resembling a divine general from an animated film, exuding great power and majesty.
Sun Wukong didn't even glance at the great immortal. After thinking for a moment, he walked over and sat down next to A Jiang. A Jiang stared blankly at him, so she didn't pay any attention to the great immortal for a while.
The great deity was furious and cried out in anger.
"I am the guardian deity of this place! You have trespassed into this forbidden area, caused trouble here, and disobeyed my orders. Take this axe!"
A-Jiang was startled. Was this the legendary mountain god who guarded Wuzhi Mountain?
Will this great demon be arrested as an accomplice after Ajahn Chah released it?
A-Jiang frowned. He had clearly checked before he came and there were no other living beings within a hundred miles.
His strength mainly relies on his summoned beasts to fight. Currently, his strongest beast is the Red Dragon King. Can it withstand this mountain god?
If you were to force a comparison between the two, it would be like comparing Guan Yu to Qin Qiong, or Godzilla to Lin Daiyu.
After the deity finished speaking, the huge axe came crashing down.
The axe came down with tremendous force, bringing with it a strong wind. The axe looked far away, but the wind had already arrived. Ah Jiang seemed to be rooted to the ground, letting the wind blow my hair wildly.
Suddenly the wind stopped, and the axe stopped in mid-air.
As if he had finally remembered something, he stopped what he was doing, looked around blankly, and muttered to himself, "Five Finger Mountain... Five Finger Mountain... Where did Five Finger Mountain go?"
But the surrounding area was flat, and there was no sign of mountains.
Ah Jiang thought to himself, "Great Mountain Guardian, the Five Finger Mountain you guarded has been reduced to dust."
He was stunned for a moment, then finally came to his senses and looked down at the person next to Ah Jiang.
The guy remained oblivious to everyone around him, sitting casually with five stones in his hand, tossing them around like a mischievous child.
But the mountain-guarding deity broke out in a cold sweat and knelt down with a thud. His force was so great that it stirred up a gust of wind, blowing sand and dust all over Ah Jiang's face.
"Great Sage, please... please spare me! Spare me!"
A-Jiang had no interest in researching whether it was appropriate for the great deity to call the great demon "grandpa," but instead watched with great interest as he played with stones.
