Unfortunately, Jin Lanyue's attempts to stop him were futile, as her second brother had already deftly dipped his brush in ink.

On the desk, there are neat stacks of Xuan paper.

That was the homework that my older brother spent several nights completing.

That's what my second brother's goal is.

"Second brother!" the little dumpling cried, her voice trembling. "Calm down..."

The second brother ignored him and revealed a smug smile of revenge on the neatly written essay: "Just wait and see, when the Grand Tutor sees this ink-stained article tomorrow, the eldest brother's expression will be quite interesting!"

When the little dumpling saw her second brother actually pick up a pen to draw on the paper, her face turned pale with fright.

She turned and ran back, her short legs struggling to keep up.

"Big brother! Big brother! Something terrible has happened!"

Jin Qizhi was in the side hall when he heard his sister's panicked cries. He immediately stood up, and the little girl bumped into his arms, her little hands tightly gripping him.

"Second brother... in the study... to fill in big brother's homework..." The little dumpling ran out of breath.

Jin Qizhi's expression changed drastically; that policy essay was the culmination of several sleepless nights of hard work.

Without saying a word, he ran straight to the study.

-

The study window was wide open, and the second brother was holding a calligraphy brush, looking smugly at the policy essay that had been mostly scribbled over.

Several turtles were drawn crookedly on the paper, the ink still wet.

"Jin Lizhi!" This was the scene that Jin Xizhi saw when he pushed open the door, and his voice trembled with anger.

The second brother was so startled by the stern shout that his brush fell to the paper with a thud.

He forced himself to remain calm and raised his head: "What? You're allowed to lecture me, but I'm not..."

Before he could finish speaking, Jin Qizhi rushed over and grabbed his collar: "Do you know how long I've been writing this!"

"Let go!" The second brother struggled fiercely, like a little monkey being grabbed by the scruff of its neck. "Who told you to always lecture me!"

"That's because you did something wrong!" Jin Qizhi's eyes turned red with anger.

The second brother retorted, not to be outdone: "I did nothing wrong! You're the one bullying me!"

As he spoke, he raised his fist and taunted, "If you've got the guts, let's fight! Let me tell you, I'm a master of both literature and martial arts, watch out or I'll beat you until you scream in pain!"

"You still show no remorse!" Jin Qizhi was also provoked. "I'm going to teach you a lesson!"

"Come on! Who's afraid of who? You might not be able to beat me! Be careful, or I'll beat you until you cry!"

The two brothers started throwing punches and kicks at each other, and soon they were wrestling together.

The writing brushes, ink, paper, and inkstone on the desk were knocked to pieces.

Jin Lanyue was stunned.

She wanted her older brother to stop her second brother, not for them to fight!

Jin Qizhi, being a few years older, forcefully pressed his younger brother down onto the desk.

Unexpectedly, the second brother used a move called "Rabbit Kicks Eagle" and kicked his older brother in the stomach with both feet!

"Ugh!" Jin Qizhi clutched her stomach and took two steps back.

Taking advantage of the opportunity, the second brother jumped onto the desk, struck a "golden rooster stands on one leg" pose, and said smugly, "Come on! Watch my Eighteen Subduing Dragon Palms!"

Before he could finish speaking, Jin Qi took two steps forward, grabbed the foot that was supporting his body, and yanked it!

In an attempt to look cool, the second brother lost his balance and fell off the desk with a "thud," landing face-first in front of his elder brother in a grand gesture of respect.

Jin Qizhi reacted quickly and kicked him in the butt!

"Aww!" The second brother's shout was particularly loud in the study.

"You dare kick my butt!" The second brother was both shocked and furious.

Jin Qi looked around, then pulled out the willow branch used for decorating the vase and gave his younger brother a lightning-fast five-lash lash.

"Pia!"

"Aww!"

"piapia!"

"Awooo!"

"piapiapia!"

"Awooooo!"

After a burst of energetic, rhythmic rock percussion—

"Ouch! Ouch! Ouch! Stop! Stop! Stop! Stop!" The second brother, who had been spouting nonsense not long ago, was being beaten until he cried out in pain. Finally, he couldn't help but shout for a stop, tears welling up in his eyes. "Big brother, stop hitting me! My bottom is going to be a bloody mess!"

"Now you feel pain?" Jin Qizhi's hands didn't stop moving. "Why didn't you think about the consequences when you ruined my homework?!"

“piapiapiapia!”

"Aww aww aww aww—" the second brother started wailing, "You hit me... I'm going to tell Mother you bullied me..."

Jin Qizhi then stopped: "You started it..."

He was panting, rubbing his stomach which was sore from being kicked, when suddenly he felt a lump in his throat.

No matter how mature he becomes, he's still only ten years old.

He looked down at his ruined schoolwork, then at his younger brother who was crying uncontrollably, and for a moment he didn't know what to do.

Jin Lanyue finally found a chance to run over, timidly tugging at her two older brothers' sleeves: "You're taking more tonics... Second brother's pants are going to get holes in them..."

The second brother hugged his sister tightly, crying even harder: "He spanked me... he spanked me with willow branches... it's all swollen..."

Jin Qizhi stood to the side, watching her younger brother comically rubbing his bottom, and glared at him: "Who told you to be so unrepentant and ruin my studies? You'll learn your lesson when you feel the pain!"

[Task Completed]

[You successfully sowed discord between Jin Qizhi and Jin Lizhi, even causing them to fight in public.]

You did a great job.

[Reward: Surprise Party Gift Box]

So, does "provoking" mean fighting?

I still don't quite understand.

Jin Lanyue was held in her second brother's arms with a blank expression. Just as he had said before, her second brother was beaten until he cried and howled.

She cried very loudly.

The little girl patted her second brother, still a bit dazed, but chose to comfort him first. She patted his back with her chubby little hands and said softly, "Don't cry, don't cry..."

On the other side, Jin Qizhi bent down to pick up the policy essays that had been scattered all over the ground due to the fight, and silently walked to the desk and sat down.

It's already night, and I have to go to school tomorrow. Is it too late to rewrite it now?

The second brother gradually stopped crying and stole a glance at his elder brother.

Seeing Jin Qizhi silently and laboriously picking up the scattered papers, her little mouth twitched, and she looked like she was about to cry again.

"I...I didn't mean to..." he muttered softly, walking awkwardly like a little duck, waddling along.

Jin Qizhi didn't even look up: "You did this on purpose."

Jin Qizhi: Hmph!

Little dumpling: You guys, you guys, don't fight...

Second brother: (sniffing) My buddies didn't fight...

Jin Qizhi: Because we were fighting.

Second brother: (Indignantly) No way! You're the one who's hitting me!

Jin Qizhi: Nonsense! Didn't I get kicked?

Second brother: I won't listen, I won't listen! This is like a tortoise chanting scriptures! (Looking) (Looking) (Looking) Where's my little notebook? (Sadly) I need to write this down, write it down...
