Chapter 104: Honestly Protecting the Situation

Chapter 104: Honestly Protecting the Situation

Jiang Yuan: "You think too much, I just want a hug."

She lay on the pillow and flirted with him fearlessly.

He looked at his watch and walked towards her.

She threw her arms around his neck.

She rubbed against his neck like a cat. He was off guard and suddenly felt a slight soreness in his neck, as if scratched by a cat's claws.

She touched the tiny teeth marks with her hand, a look of satisfaction on her face. "I've stamped your approval. No matter where you go, other women will stay away from you."

Yin Dong's expression darkened. He pinched her chin and kissed her deeply. His voice was filled with cruelty. "It's you who should be quiet. Remember what I said before."

Jiang Yuan knew what he meant and nodded obediently, "Come back soon, I'll wait for you."

He glanced at the time on his watch, pinched her tender cheek with his big hand, turned around and walked out.

With the last sound of the door closing coming from the living room, Jiang Yuan's face instantly turned cold.

Her cheeks were still aching slightly, as if the warmth of his fingers still lingered. His strong scent was still lingering on the bed and everywhere in the room. Jiang Yuan couldn't tell why, but she felt a little empty in her heart.

She leaned on the bed and didn't move for a long time. She struggled to pull herself out of all this unreal scene and sort out her thoughts.

She ended up arriving at the office an hour later than usual.

As soon as I sat down in the office, I saw two statements posted one after another on the company's internal website.

One is that Yang Ming's wife came to the company and openly beat and insulted the company's employees, damaged the employees' reputation, caused serious personal injuries, and disrupted normal office order. In response, the company decided to fire Yang Ming, the director of the finance department.

The statement concluded by stating that the company protects the personal safety and legal rights of every employee and will never allow any employee's relatives or other external personnel to cause any degree of harm to our employees. Once such harm occurs, it will not be tolerated.

Jiang Yuan didn't know who wrote this statement, but the tone of voice sounded very similar to someone else's.

The statement was written with such righteous words that she was not sure whether Yin Dong's decision to fire Yang Ming was entirely because of her.

Jiang Yuan also paid special attention to another dismissal statement.

Those who were fired were two senior employees of the Finance Department. They were charged with maliciously spreading rumors, fabricating facts, infringing on the reputation of others, and causing extremely bad influence and consequences. They were dismissed.

The statement did not specify what they had done, nor did it mention the victims, but I believe everyone in the company understands what rumors these two people spread.

This statement indirectly cleared Jiang Yuan's name.

The statement also concluded by saying that the company strongly detests such behavior and will severely punish any such incidents if they occur again. The company hopes that all employees will take this as a warning.

After reading the two statements, Jiang Yuan felt refreshed. After being depressed for so long since joining the company, she could finally breathe a sigh of relief.

She picked up her phone and had just typed "thank you" in the edit box when a new message suddenly flashed in the dialog box. It was from Yin Dong: "Preparing to board the plane, my phone is turned off. I need to talk to Zhou Zhi."

He seemed to be reporting to her. Jiang Yuan's heart tightened slightly. After a few seconds, she retyped in the editing column: "I have seen the statement. Thank you. Have a safe trip."

She thought about it, paused her fingers, and finally changed "thank you" to "I miss you so much".

He didn't come back, and Jiang Yuan calmly put away her phone.
