Chapter 162: Cold-Faced Comedian

Chapter 162: Cold-Faced Comedian

For several seconds, there was silence on the phone.

Jiang Yuan knew that it would be difficult for him to come up with any words of comfort. At this moment, anything he said seemed insignificant.

"If you really want me to, I'll lend it to you and be your dad for a while."

He said this in a cold voice.

Jiang Yuan's scalp was about to explode. He could really say anything.

Her gloomy mood was instantly turned upside down by him. She couldn't help but ask, "Are you a deadpan comedian? Why don't you do a stand-up comedy show?"

"You mean I'm suitable for selling smiles?"

He was talking nonsense seriously, and Jiang Yuan said to him, "It's okay if you don't smile. With your appearance, there are plenty of women looking at you wherever you go. You can make money just by keeping your mouth shut."

He still spoke in a lukewarm tone, "Be a mannequin?"

Jiang Yuan imagined the scene: he was sitting naked in front of the classroom, surrounded by a group of art students pointing and gesturing at him. He had a sour face but could only stand still.

Inexplicably funny and weird.

"What are you thinking about?"

His tone darkened. Jiang Yuan shook off the image in her mind and replied honestly, "Nothing."

"You're thinking about me without clothes."

Even through the phone, Jiang Yuan's ears still burned red. After two seconds, he replied: "Are you too self-obsessed?"

"Why are you blushing? Have you seen too little?"

It was really weird. Jiang Yuan blushed and held her breath, mainly because many pictures that were not suitable for children automatically appeared in her mind.

Yin Dong stood in the moonlight, holding his phone. The flowers in the yard exuded a faint fragrance. His leather shoes rubbed against the flowers that his mother had carefully tended. His voice suddenly dimmed, "Did you miss me?"

Even though she was far away, her heart seemed to be touched. With a stir in her heart, she asked, "Did you miss me?"

In fact, the answer to this question is obvious. If he didn't want her, how could such a proud man like him call her specifically?

But she wondered if he would admit it himself.

She waited a second and heard him reply: "Clothed or naked?"

Jiang Yuan didn't know that he was such a mean person. Was this all that was on his mind?

When she first approached him, she almost thought he was a flower of high mountain. He was such a restrained and abstinent man, but in the end, he kept talking about dirty jokes all the time.

Jiang Yuan was so angry that she wanted to hang up the phone, "Do you have anything else to say?"

He held his phone and glanced into the hall, and saw that the four people were already playing mahjong.

"Go to sleep."

Jiang Yuan: "Happy New Year, thank you."

She knew that he was trying to make her happy, which was why he joked with her so much. People like him usually have others come to please them, so why would he bother to make others happy?

Yin Dong raised the corners of his lips silently and replied lazily, "Let's have fun together."

A new Gabriel flower has bloomed in the garden. Its smoky purple petals stand gracefully in this winter night, elegant and pure, so tender that water can be squeezed out of it. He put his phone back into his pocket, and when he turned around, he casually picked up a petal and twisted it between his fingertips.

In the main hall, Sun Mei, who was playing mahjong, yelled towards the entrance hall, "You little bastard, why are you pinching my flowers again?"

Yin Dong casually threw the petals back into the bushes, turned around, said "I'm leaving", and strode out of the yard.

Sun Mei raised her voice behind her and asked, "Where are you going so late at night?"

Yin Dong walked out the door without looking back.
