Chapter 238 Recruiting People

Chapter 238 Recruiting People

President's Office of Dongjin Group.

Financial Director Lin Zhi stood in front of the large desk and reminded, "Boss Yin, I have the resumes of two people I just interviewed this morning. Please take a look. I selected these two from the dozens of applicants I recently interviewed. They both have good qualifications. Please make your final selection."

Yin Dong slowly raised his head from the computer screen in front of him and took the two stacks of resumes in front of him with a serious expression.

He glanced at it casually and put it on the table. "How do you know these two have good qualifications?"

Lin Zhi was choked. In the past half month, she had interviewed seventy or eighty applicants, but none of them caught Yin Dong's eye. She didn't know what kind of person he wanted.

She boldly said, "Boss Yin, my idea is to try him out first and then slowly look for the most suitable candidate. The Finance Department has a huge backlog of work right now, and leaving the Finance Manager position vacant is not a long-term solution. I'm worried that if this continues, the Finance Department will become a mess."

Yin Dong leaned back in his chair, tapping his fingers on the table. He said in a slow, deep voice, "Are you saying that you, as a financial director, can't shoulder the responsibility?"

Lin Zhi was speechless. "That's not what I meant. Okay, I understand what you mean. I will continue to interview suitable candidates."

She turned and left the office. Behind her, Yin Dong's eyes darkened.

After Jiang Yuan returned to work at the company, she immediately immersed herself in a new job.

In the financial investment industry, one's own ability and professional level are one aspect, but more important than these are the investment manager's connections and resources.

Colleagues previously thought that Jiang Yuan was just a recent graduate from a prestigious university, and no one expected that she actually had a boyfriend who was a wealthy man.

Before, her colleagues treated her like a little sister and joked with her from time to time, but now everyone keeps their distance from her, fearing that they might offend her by saying something wrong.

This is good, she can focus on her work without distraction, and no one dares to make things difficult for her.

When the cell phone rang, it was almost noon and time to get off work. It was Yin Dong calling.

Jiang Yuan put the phone to her ear, but her eyes were still fixed on the thick project documents in front of her: "I'm still working."

Yin Dong: "Ask the driver to pick you up and we'll have lunch together."

Jiang Yuan put down the documents in her hand, checked the time, and hesitated for a moment before saying, "I only have half an hour to rest at noon. I have an appointment with the founder this afternoon. Let's have dinner together in the evening."

He was silent for a while on the phone, then said, "The financial manager position at Dongjin is currently vacant. If you want to come back, you can come back anytime."

Jiang Yuan subconsciously asked, "It's been so long, and you still haven't found the right person?"

Dongjin’s treatment is good, but the threshold is also known to be high.

"Well, there's a huge backlog of work, the Finance Department is in disarray, and Director Lin is completely overwhelmed."

Jiang Yuan was a little skeptical about what he said. After all, the Dongjin Finance Department was not a makeshift team set up in a day or two. It could still operate normally even if it lost a manager or a director. However, the tone of his voice did not sound like he was joking at all.

Jiang Yuan stood up from her seat, walked out of the open office with her phone in hand, and went into the restroom. She unconsciously lowered her voice a few degrees and said, "If that doesn't work, I'll post your recruitment notice in our alumni group. We have several outstanding seniors from previous classes who should be able to meet your requirements."

After she finished speaking, there was no sound from his end. She thought he had hung up. She glanced at her phone and saw that it was on a call. She hesitated for two seconds and said, "Do you have anything else to do? I need to finish reviewing the project materials and prepare for my meeting with the founder this afternoon."

"Go ahead."

He replied with two words and she hung up directly.
