Chapter 24: Whirling Blade

Chapter 24: Whirling Blade

Ji Chuan on the side couldn't help but curl up the corners of his lips.

Liang Zhouheng was about to open his mouth to say something when his vision suddenly darkened and the woman next to him was pulled out.

When he turned around, Yin Dong had already walked with his long legs, holding Jiang Yuan's arm, and striding towards the elevator in the corridor.

Liang Zhouheng stood there, stunned.

Turning around, he looked at Ji Chuan, "What does he mean?"

When Ji Chuan's eyes swept across Liang Zhouheng's face, he also glanced at Xu Hui who was standing behind him.

The woman had pretty features, a drooping face, a pale complexion, and disheveled clothes.

Ji Chuan retracted his gaze and said calmly, "Send the person back. Let's go."

Xu Hui suddenly raised his eyes, and the man had turned away, leaving only his handsome back.

When Jiang Yuan sat in the back seat of the Rolls-Royce again, he was completely confused.

The development of the matter was really beyond her expectations. A few hours ago, he had driven her out of the car and thrown her on the side of the road. Now, he took her away from Liang Zhouheng. This man changed his mind faster than turning the pages of a book.

Jiang Yuan leaned against the car door and intentionally kept a distance from Yin Dong. She knew that he was a very clean person.

A man's voice came from my ear, "Go to the hospital."

The driver responded and started the car.

"Need not!"

Jiang Yuan slowed down his voice. "Thank you, I don't need it."

Yin Dong turned his head and glanced at her hand, which was pierced by broken glass and had drops of blood oozing out.

He retracted his gaze, lit a cigarette, and asked in a cold voice, "Where do you live?"

The scent of nicotine with a hint of cedar lingered in the air. Jiang Yuan paused and told the school's address.

The atmosphere in the car was eerily quiet. Jiang Yuan seemed to be looking out the window, but in fact, he was holding a rabbit in his heart, and his breathing was already disordered.

After a while, she suddenly remembered something and turned her head and said, "Thank you for tonight."

"Thank you for what?"

He tilted his head, a hint of coldness in his calm eyes.

Jiang Yuan adjusted his breathing and whispered, "Thank you for helping me out."

His gaze on her deepened significantly. A few seconds later, she heard him say calmly, "Liang Zhouheng has been fooled by you. He's stupid. You used him to get close to me by any means necessary. No matter what your purpose is, I advise you to stop here."

Jiang Yuan's expression changed instantly. In his suddenly dilated pupils, the man's handsome and upright face suddenly became sinister and dangerous.

It was like thunder struck her mind, and she tried to calm herself down: "You took me away from Mr. Liang, just to warn me?"

He drooped his eyelids and slowly exhaled the cigarette in his mouth.

Jiang Yuan's heart was completely cold. He brought her out, and she thought...

"If you think so of me, then why did you take me away from him? You knew he was going to take me home tonight, what was your plan?"

She looked at him with forbearing eyes.

He glanced down at her, with a hint of disdain in the corner of his eyes.

Jiang Yuan's face stung from his gaze. The next second, she heard him say in a sarcastic tone, "He's never been picky about food, but he'll let go of random cats and dogs from unknown sources."

It was as if he shivered from head to toe. Jiang Yuan clenched his fists tightly, and the blue veins on his neck were faintly visible.

One second, two seconds, three seconds later, she slowly exhaled, her blood-red eyes filled with misty moisture, her voice choked slightly, "Do you also think that what happened in the box tonight was my deliberate arrangement? Did I stage it all myself?"

"Mr. Yin, I like you, but that doesn't mean I can tolerate your wanton slander and insults."
