Chapter 32: The Drunkard's Intention Is Not to Drink
Jiang Yuan suddenly looked away.
After a while, the topic was finally changed. Someone said to Jiang Yuan, "Old Yang, your Finance Department has found a treasure this year. Xiao Jiang is a girl with high IQ and EQ. She will be able to take on great responsibilities in the future."
Yang Ming's face was radiant, his mouth stretched to the back of his ears. After a brief pause, he politely replied, "Director Zhang, don't be jealous. I've heard that Director Zhang's son is very handsome and talented. He's been studying at an Ivy League school abroad. He's about to graduate, right?"
Director Zhang said, "You're too kind. My son's talents are average, but thankfully he's diligent and willing to learn, and he's made some progress in school. He's about to graduate, and I'm planning on having him come to our company to gain some experience. Xiao Jiang, you're both of the same age, so I'd like to introduce you two to each other so he can learn from more talented people."
Jiang Yuan blinked her eyelashes. She didn't expect the topic to end up focusing on her. It was so sudden that she was completely bewildered.
Yang Ming kicked her and then said with a smile, "Director Zhang has other intentions. Haha, Mr. Zhang is only in his early twenties. Isn't it too early for you to arrange things for him so early?"
Director Zhang said, "Miss Jiang is incredibly talented and beautiful. It's hard to find a girl like her even with a lantern. It's easy to get close to the water. Miss Jiang, how about I take a spot for my son?"
Jiang Yuan slowly came back to her senses. She never expected that something unexpected would happen during her meal.
She glanced towards the main seat out of the corner of her eye and saw the man eating nonchalantly, showing no emotion.
She raised her head and replied in a very straightforward tone, "Mr. Zhang, thank you for your kindness, but I already have someone I like and will not consider contacting anyone else. I wish Mr. Zhang can find a good match soon."
Yang Ming: "Oh, that's such a pity."
Director Zhang: "Didn't you just graduate? Excuse me, which talented person does Miss Jiang like? Is he a classmate?"
Perhaps everyone was particularly curious about this kind of gossip, and the dinner table had become completely quiet at this moment.
Jiang Yuan could feel that Yin Dong had put down his chopsticks, and his heavy gaze was pressing towards her.

Jiang Yuan said a few more polite words, and the topic was finally over.
Halfway through, Jiang Yuan had almost finished eating and went to the bathroom outside the box to get some fresh air.
She had just come out of the bathroom with her head lowered when her vision suddenly went dark. Then she was pushed back into the bathroom door by a brute force. Then, with a "click", the door was locked.
A familiar cold breath instantly enveloped her from head to toe. She looked up suddenly and met the man's dark face with a rage ready to explode.
