Chapter 435: The Trick
Xue Qi lowered her eyes, placed the cup of water on the marble coffee table in front of him, and sat down opposite him.
She whispered, "I didn't expect you to come."
Yin Dong raised his eyes and looked at her, "What important thing do you want to tell me?"
Xue Qi looked away and her eyes fell on the tea table next to the sofa. There was a photo frame there, which was a couple's photo taken when they went skiing in Switzerland. In the photo, both of them were wearing thick ski suits, and she was lying on his back. "Do you remember this photo?"

According to his temper, since he didn't refuse outright, it meant he agreed.
Xue Qi was almost overjoyed. She stood up and walked over to him and sat down next to him. "Yin Dong, I know you can come today, but you just can't let me go, right? Can we start over?"
Yin Dong's lips twitched, his gaze fixed on the cufflinks. After two seconds of silence, he tilted his head and said, "How can I start over with you? Xue Guangkun framed my father, so do I still have to call him 'father-in-law'?"
He stared at her with a stern look in his eyes. She couldn't hold on any longer and turned her head away, saying, "If you don't want to see him, I can break off relations with him."
Yin Dong snorted coldly, "Xue Qi, how can you make me believe that this isn't another one of his schemes? He used you once and he's done it a second time. Do you think you can use me and it will work every time?"
Xue Qi looked panicked, "No, I came to see you, he doesn't know."
Yin Dong reached out and tugged at his collar, his tone irritated: "You used me twice, am I a fool in your eyes?"
Xue Qi reached out and hugged his arm, "Yin Dong, believe me, I was forced by the Xue family."
Yin Dong's eyes darkened, and he opened his collar a little more. Xue Qi was too close to him, and he resisted the urge to push her away. However, the scent on her body was very strong. His Adam's apple rolled, and his voice became a little hoarse. The fierceness in his aura disappeared, and inexplicably there was a little tenderness in his voice. "Aren't you a member of the Xue family? Why did they force you to do this?"
"I'm not."
