Chapter 453: Tacit Cooperation
Less than two minutes after Xue Shan made the call, Jiang Yuan's cell phone rang.
The moment the word "Mom" lit up on the screen, tears flowed from her eyes.
"Round"
"That man set me free. I'm saved. Don't be afraid."
On the other end of the phone, Yang Xue tried her best to suppress her sobs.
Jiang Yuan clutched her phone and cried silently, unable to open her mouth.
Yin Dong took the phone from her and asked into the phone, "Are you hurt?"
Yang Xue quickly replied: "No, no, I'm fine, don't worry."

When the bodyguards escorted Jiang Yuan and Yin Dong out of the terminal, ambulances and police cars were already waiting there.
Jiang Yuan's eyes swept across the police cars and saw Xue Shan, lying on a stretcher, being carried into an ambulance by medical staff.
She calmly withdrew her gaze, as if something in her heart had suddenly been emptied, and her whole body became very light from head to toe. She turned her head to look at the ambulance again, turned her head back, and slowly exhaled.
Yin Dong pulled her into the car and the car drove out steadily. For a few minutes, neither of them spoke, only their hands were clasped together tightly.
After a while, Jiang Yuan moved, leaned towards Yin Dong, and took the initiative to rest her head on his chest, whispering: "Thank you."
He rubbed her cheek: "I get nervous when you're so polite."
Jiang Yuan raised her head and looked at him. A faint smile was overflowing in his eyes. She lowered her head and said muffledly, "You're right. I'm ignorant of my own limitations. Fortunately, you're here."
She thought she was no longer afraid of the Xue family, but today, she felt clearly what it felt like to be overwhelmed by fear and unable to move.
He smiled softly, "If you want to praise me, then praise me. Is there any need to reflect on yourself so much?"
Jiang Yuan blinked, pursed her lips, and suddenly thought of something. She asked, "What was your original plan for today? You said that Lei Zi, who was standing next to Xue Shan, was reluctant to let Xue Shan get hurt. Did you originally want to use Xue Shan to threaten Lei Zi?"
Yin Dong: "No man can bear to see the woman he loves get hurt. I originally wanted to threaten you, but later, inspired by you, I changed my mind temporarily."
Jiang Yuan didn't understand: "How did I inspire you?"
He glanced down at her and said calmly, "I see you're hitting her so hard, so I'll just let you vent your anger all at once. Everyone wants to live, but she's the second daughter of the Xue family, so she's more afraid of death than anyone else."
Jiang Yuan thought that the two of them cooperated very well and thought the same thing.
Regardless, they won the battle today, though it certainly came at a significant cost. Yin Dong had made such a big scene, with so many police officers and even three ambulances. Xue Shan was in such a horrific condition, yet the two of them were able to walk out unharmed. I wonder how he'll explain this to his father when he gets home...
She thought for a moment and said seriously, "Will Minister Yin blame you for what happened today? If he asks you to go home, I want to go back with you. When he scolds you, I can help you take some of the heat."
Looking at her serious expression, Yin Dong couldn't help but lower his head and kissed her before he smiled and said, "My wife is really loyal and capable."
