Chapter 456: Going to Receive the Sin
The two went up to the second floor and stood at the door of Yin Zhengxian's office. Jiang Yuan's heart was pounding. Before she could prepare herself mentally, Yin Dong raised his hand and knocked on the door casually. Without waiting for any sound from inside, he pulled her and pushed the door open.
So when Jiang Yuan walked in, she was caught off guard.
This office is spotless and the furnishings are simple and plain. There is only a pot of green plants that I can't name placed on the cabinet by the windowsill. Next to the cabinet is a bookcase that takes up almost an entire wall. A national flag and a party flag are hung behind the right side of the desk. The four large characters "天下为公" (The world serves the public) hanging on the wall behind the solid wood desk are particularly eye-catching.
The entire space was filled with a solemn and dignified atmosphere; even the air seemed to carry a sense of oppression that made people afraid to act rashly.
Jiang Yuan felt Yin Zhengxian's gaze linger on her and Yin Dong's clasped hands for a second or two, and then she heard his deep voice, "Why did you bring her here?"
The pronunciation of the word "she" was particularly emphasized.
Jiang Yuan felt the strength in Yin Dong's hand increase a bit, and then heard him say casually, "She was worried that I would get beaten by you, so she came here to protect me. What's wrong? Ordinary people can't come to your place?"
As he spoke, he calmly led her towards the row of gray sofas, sat down naturally, and pulled her towards his seat.
"Yin Dong!"
Yin Zhengxian slammed the table, his brows immediately gloomy.

After Jiang Yuan finished speaking, she bowed deeply in the direction of Yin Zhengxian.

He glared at Yin Dong fiercely.
Yin Dong didn't even look at him. His eyes were fixed on Jiang Yuan. Her waist was almost bent to 90 degrees. The pain in his eyes was beyond words.
He reached out and supported her waist, then turned around and said with an unhappy look, "I bowed to you 90 degrees and you didn't even appreciate it. Do you really have to wait for her father to come to you in his dreams at night?"
Jiang Yuan rolled her eyes at Yin Dong in her heart. He really dared to say anything.
Yin Zhengxian ignored his nonsense. His eyes fell on Jiang Yuan's face and he replied calmly, "Don't say such things. How is your mother?"
Jiang Yuan's face showed a hint of surprise, and she quickly replied, "The rescue was timely. She was just a little frightened, not injured."
She thought for a moment, then added, "Thank you for your concern."
"Hmm," he nodded slightly, then calmed down and said solemnly, "While there were reasons for what happened today, your actions were truly against the rules, too reckless and radical, and the impact was extremely negative."
