Chapter 55: Little Slut
Jiang Yuan left his workstation and walked straight to the female colleague's workstation. With a stern face, he said in a deep voice, "Stand up and explain yourself clearly."
The person's name is Zhang Wenjing. She is older than Sister Lin and is the head of the technical department. Everyone calls her Manager Zhang. She has relatively long seniority in the entire company.
In full view of everyone, Jiang Yuan stood next to her workstation and challenged her. Zhang Wenjing couldn't stand it no matter what.
She slowly stood up and glared at Jiang Yuan arrogantly, "Why are you so angry, little girl? What did I say? Did I hit a soft spot for you?"
Jiang Yuan's face was pale, his brows cold and sharp, his gaze like the cold light of an ice blade. He said to Zhang Wenjing in an aggressive tone, "You guys maliciously spread rumors about me in private, and I didn't say a word. It's not that I'm stupid, nor that I'm easy to bully. I just don't want to waste my time on these boring and hateful words. Please respect yourselves and keep your mouths shut."
Zhang Wenjing was scolded by her in front of her, and she couldn't swallow this insult.
"Bang!" Doctor, Zhang Wenjing immediately threw the documents on the table at Jiang Yuan, yelling, "Are you crazy? What kind of dirty talk did I tell you? You're just a little girl who just got a full-time job, and you're lecturing us. Who gave you the confidence to act so lawless? Go back to where you came from."
The Technology Department is the core department of the company. Zhang Wenjing is the head of the Technology Department. She graduated from a prestigious university, has a track record, and is a veteran employee of the company, so she doesn't even take Yang Ming seriously.
Jiang Yuan was so angry that her whole body was shaking. Unfortunately, she had no evidence at all. Suppressing her anger, she said, "You're not making up rumors, are you? Give me your phone."
Zhang Wenjing's face changed, and she immediately grabbed the phone on the table and sneered, "Why should I give it to you? Who do you think you are?"
Jiang Yuan blamed herself for her inexperience. This was her first time experiencing such office intrigue. She was so angry that she almost lost her mind, her lips trembling. "You know best if you've ever been a gossipmonger. You're a long-winded gossipmonger who curses people behind their backs. Do you dare to say those dirty words to my face?"
Zhang Wenjing raised her eyes and glared at her, then smiled. "You're looking for a scolding, aren't you? Oh, listen up, you little slut! You little bitch!"
"Snap"
Jiang Yuan could no longer control herself and slapped Zhang Wenjing in the face.
Zhang Wenjing's cheek was hit and her glasses fell to the ground. Her face turned dark instantly and she turned around and pounced on Jiang Yuan.
All the hairs on Jiang Yuan's body stood up, and he was ready for battle.
Suddenly, a sharp male voice came from the door, "Stop it!"
Yin Dong strode in from the door with his long legs. His steps were powerful and imposing. His face seemed to be carrying a blizzard in the winter night, which made people shudder.
"What kind of place is this? Fights are happening here, using Dongjin as a fighting arena?"
Yin Dong stopped in front of the two of them and glanced at Zhang Wenjing and Jiang Yuan's faces respectively.
Zhang Wenjing covered her face, tears welling in her eyes as she choked out, "Boss Yin, I've worked for the company for so many years, and I've never complained about the hardships. But today, I was slapped in public by a little girl. I just can't swallow this. If the company doesn't give me an explanation, I'll have to call the police."
Yin Dong's eyes darkened slightly and he turned to look at Jiang Yuan.
The anger in Jiang Yuan's eyes turned into sadness. She drooped her eyelids and said nothing. The two fists hanging by her legs were still shaking slightly.
