Chapter 58 "Come to my office."
Seeing Yin Dong's obscure gaze directed at her, Jiang Yuan explained, "I'm not late. I just went downstairs to buy something."
"Come to my office."
Yin Dong left a message and walked out.
Jiang Yuan thought he was going to ask about the progress of her financial work, after all, the formal negotiations were only three days away.
She hadn't put down the things in her hand yet, and asked hurriedly, "Now?"
His long legs stepped past her side, and she quickly moved aside to make way.
He turned back and glanced at the thing in her hand. Jiang Yuan subconsciously put her hands behind her. His low voice came to her ears, "Half an hour later."
Jiang Yuan responded, returned to her workstation, had breakfast, waited ten minutes, took some cold medicine, checked the time, and sorted out the relevant financial information on her desk.
When she stood up, she stood up too quickly and her vision went dark for a moment. She stood there for a few seconds before taking the documents in her hand and going to the president's office.
Jiang Yuan knocked on the door and got permission, then pushed it open and went in. She saw him leaning back in his office chair, looking at her leisurely, as if he was waiting for her to come in.
He saw that she was still wrapped in the long black down jacket, with a mask on her face. She had only taken off the scarf around her neck, leaving her slender neck bare. Her palm-sized face looked frail and sickly.
Jiang Yuan's head felt dizzy, so she had to slow down her pace. She walked to the desk, stood still, and handed the documents in her hand to Yin Dong. "Here are some of the financial problems and omissions I've found recently. I've sorted them out in order of priority and verified them one by one. Please take a look."
Even through the mask, her voice was hoarse and her strong nasal tone could still be heard, sounding listless.
Yin Dong leaned forward slightly, stretched out his long arm, and took the thick stack of information from her hand.
There are more than a dozen volumes in total, which she bound into different categories. The cover of each volume indicates the core issues and the amount involved, followed by a summary of the doubts and a detailed verification process.
Yin Dong lowered his head and casually flipped through a few books. Jiang Yuan watched his expression nervously and asked quietly, "Can these be used as bargaining chips?"
He closed the documents in his hand, raised his head towards her, and scanned her masked face with his deep eyes. He asked calmly, "Are you sick?"
Jiang Yuan blinked slightly, then nodded, and through the mask, he hummed back, "I have a slight cold."
He stared at her, his voice tinged with anger, "If you're sick, go back and rest. The company doesn't force employees to work while sick."
Jiang Yuan: "The negotiations are in three days, I can't leave."
Without even looking up, he said in a leisurely voice, "You mean this merger negotiation can't go on without you?"
Jiang Yuan ignored the sarcasm in his voice, looked at him firmly, and said stubbornly: "I have made so many preparations for this merger. I want to stand guard for the last time."
"Are you worried that the cooked duck will fly away? That the performance bonus won't fall on you?"
The corners of his eyes were slightly raised, and Jiang Yuan couldn't tell whether there was a faint smile in his deep eyes. Her thoughts were exposed by his words, and she felt a little uncomfortable.
He stared at her silently for a few seconds, then suddenly asked, "Is your family in urgent need of money?"
