Ji Chuan glanced at the door, then turned his head to look out the window. Through the gap in the blinds, he could see the front desk. Visitors had arrived, and Xu Hui was standing there talking to them, holding a pen in his hand and carefully recording something. He must be registering the visitors.
His gaze couldn't help but stay on her for a few more seconds, and he could vaguely see the smile on her face.
After she finished her work, he used the internal phone to make a call.
"Mr. Ji."
It wasn't her who answered.
He turned his head and looked towards the front desk again. She was looking down at some documents.
"Let Xu Hui come in for a moment."
After the call ended, she appeared at the door of his office one minute later.
Xu Hui's sparkling eyes rolled left and right, and he asked him softly, "Are you looking for me?"
Ji Chuan leaned back in his chair without moving, and ordered her in a commanding tone: "Come in and close the door."
