Chapter 613: Losing Reason

Chapter 613: Losing Reason

Xu Hui asked, but the other party didn't say anything for a few seconds. She suspected that he was really drunk.

"Have you drunk too much? Where are you now?"

"At the door."

She frowned, "Which door?"

"Your doorstep."

Xu Hui felt a bang on his forehead and felt a little dizzy.

She suspected he was talking drunkenly and asked again, "Are you at my door now?"

"Um."

Xu Hui's whole body was agitated. She grabbed some clothes and put them on while asking him, "Why did you come here without telling me?"

He didn't respond to her, so she said, "Then wait for me for a while."

"No rush."

He said it casually, but she couldn't let him stand outside waiting for her for too long. She put on her clothes in a hurry. Her hair was a little wet, and she didn't bother to blow it dry. She picked up her phone and went out. After taking a few steps, she realized that she hadn't changed her slippers.

Xu Hui hurriedly ran out of the courtyard, and when he turned his head, he saw a tall figure walking towards him.

He walked steadily, didn't look drunk, and was holding a food bag in his hand.

Xu Hui took two steps forward and stopped. He walked over to her, looked her up and down, and handed her the bag in his hand. "This is a treat from a client tonight. Try it."

She smelled a strong smell of alcohol on him, took the bag, and asked, "Have you been drinking?"

He nodded, "Drank a little."

She smelled it, not just a little bit.

"You don't want to drink, do you? If I had known, I should have gone with you."

"Will you block the wine for me again?"

He lowered his head slightly and asked while looking into her eyes.

Xu Hui avoided his gaze and replied casually: "Isn't it my duty?"

As soon as she finished speaking, he suddenly took a step closer to her and asked, "What else do you have to do?"

The smell of alcohol, mixed with his own sharp breath, instantly invaded her nostrils. Her blood suddenly began to rush. She stepped back and replied nonchalantly, "Thank you for bringing the delicious food over. It's too late and you've had too much to drink. I'll call a designated driver for you."

As soon as she finished speaking, she felt a strange touch on her shoulder. He put his hand on her shoulder and twisted her hair with his fingers.

"Why is your hair wet?"

Xu Hui turned sideways and shook his hand away, "I was planning to take a shower and go to bed."

He withdrew his hands and put them into his trouser pockets.

"What now? You want to go back to take a shower and go to bed? I spent half an hour coming here, and you're going to send me back."

His tone was lazy, completely different from his normal speaking tone.

Xu Hui felt that he was a little difficult to deal with, or rather, she was at a loss.

She held it in for a long time, and only managed to say: "You've had too much to drink. Let's talk tomorrow."

He stood there motionless, the moonlight stretched his shadow long, making him look somewhat pitiful.

Xu Hui raised his head, took out his phone, and asked him while calling a designated driver, "You parked the car in the alley..."

Before she could finish her words, his phone was suddenly snatched away by him. The next second, she felt her whole body being pulled and slammed into a solid chest.

She felt weightless for a moment, and the intense dizziness prevented her from reacting in the first few seconds.

Then she heard a violent, muffled sound coming from his chest, like the beating of a drum, and then she felt the arms around her back, holding her tightly, making it difficult for her to even breathe.
