Chapter 641 "No matter how many years older I am, I am still your brother."

Chapter 641 "No matter how many years older I am, I am still your brother."

Kuang Ye slept until noon the next day and was woken up by the doorbell.

He dragged his heavy steps to open the door. A courier was standing outside, and next to him were several large boxes wrapped in sealed courier bags.

Courier: "Hello, are you Mr. Kuang? Please sign for your delivery."

Kuang Ye's mind was so heavy that it felt like a mountain was pressing down on it, and he asked directly, "Where did it come from?"

Courier: "Same-city delivery."

Kuang Ye took another look at the big boxes, and his heart suddenly sank, as if a stone had sunk into his body. An indescribable emotion, not sure if it was depression or disappointment, instantly trapped him.

"There are quite a lot of packages, please check them."

The courier is still urging.

Kuang Ye wanted to kick these things away, but he suppressed his emotions and replied in a callous tone: "Throw them there."

Then he closed the door.

The courier glanced at the pile of things on the ground with annoyance and left.

Inside the room, Kuang Ye walked back to the bedroom with a stern face, his head buzzing with pain.

Just as I lay down on the bed, the doorbell rang again.

A surge of annoyance suddenly surged in his chest. Kuang Ye strode towards the door, opened it, frowned, and was about to open his mouth when Yin Mujia's mischievous face flashed before his eyes.

"Are you awake?"

Yin Muga was holding a large bag of things in his hand and looked at him with blinking eyes.

The restlessness on Kuang Ye's face froze for a moment, then the corners of his mouth relaxed, "What are you doing here?"

Yin Mujia squeezed in with something in his hand. "I came to see you. I guessed you didn't have breakfast. Let's have brunch together."

Kuang Ye closed the door behind her, forcing a smile onto his lips, "You've grown up."

Yin Mujia was just taking out a large bag of food and placing it on the table. Upon hearing the voice, his face froze for a moment, but he quickly raised his head and smiled, "You are four years older than me. Can you please stop thinking of yourself as your elder?"

Kuang Ye walked closer, his eyes swept over the table full of food and drinks, and he said casually: "No matter how many years older I am, I am still your brother."

Yin Mujia lowered his head, pursed his lips, and said nothing. Then he asked, "There are a lot of express deliveries at the door. Did you buy them all? When did you become an online shopping expert?"

Kuang Ye didn't say anything, but his face immediately darkened.

Yin Muga immediately guessed that it must be related to Zhang Xiaoya.

If we think about it more deeply, it might be that the thing he gave to Zhang Xiaoya was returned.

She moved her lips, her tone a little stiff, "Is it something that has not been given away? Such a big thing, what did you buy? Is it the wrong thing to give away?"

Kuang Ye lazily lifted his eyelids and glanced at Yin Mujia, his voice a little weak, "Her father just had heart surgery, so I'm sending nutritional supplements to her family, isn't that right?"

Yin Mujia lowered his head and stirred the bowl of porridge in front of him with a spoon, but his mind was recalling the phone call from Zhang Xiaoya last night.

She remembered that Zhang Xiaoya’s first words were that she had just seen the things he sent, and then she said, “I won’t accept them.”

As a woman herself, Yin Muga could keenly sense the change in Zhang Xiaoya's attitude in these two sentences. At least, her tone was not so decisive at the beginning.

Yin Mujia had been feeling guilty and uneasy all night because she had answered the call for him without permission. Now, sitting in front of Kuang Ye, she felt like she was being taken to the execution ground.

She looked up at him. He was leaning on the seat with his eyelids drooping. His face was as dull as boiled water, which was completely different from his usual lively appearance. He looked like an eggplant hit by frost. She had never seen him so depressed, as if all his energy and vitality had been drained away.
