Chapter 812: Mother and Child Connected
Yin Dong wiped her tears with a tissue and said in a deep voice, "Look, push them out, shall we?"
Jiang Yuan didn't know why he was so anxious to push the children away. "Just let them sleep here."
Yin Dong: "It will disturb your rest. Push him to the next ward. There is a special aunt to help you. Mom is also there."
Jiang Yuan insisted on keeping them: "I feel at ease when they are by my side."
Sun Mei advised Yin Dong: "Okay, let's take advantage of them falling asleep now and let them sleep here first. We can push them out after they wake up."
There was still some dissatisfaction on Yin Dong's face, but he didn't say anything.
Sun Mei: "Then I'll be out. You four can stay here for a while. Yuanyuan, close your eyes and have a good rest."
Jiang Yuan nodded and responded.
The door of the ward was closed. Yin Dong pushed the stroller a little further away and pulled a chair to sit down next to the bed.
Jiang Yuan watched his operation without blinking and reminded him, "Be gentle and don't wake them up."
He glanced disapprovingly at the two strollers and said, "They're both fast asleep."
Jiang Yuan looked at his face and said, "I think you don't like them very much."
Yin Dong said without hesitation: "I like it. How could your own flesh and blood not like it?"
Jiang Yuan cast her gaze on the two strollers again and said lightly, "I really want to hug them."
Yin Dong glanced at the baby carriage behind him again, turned around and said, "If you really want to, I can take your place."
Jiang Yuan: "You are my father, how can you replace me?"
Yin Dong raised his eyebrows, "I mean on their behalf."
Jiang Yuan was stunned for a second, then realized that he meant for her to hold the baby on behalf of the two babies.
She suddenly realized that since she woke up, she seemed to have not had time to be intimate with him, and her heart was already occupied by the two babies.
He looked at her straight, and Jiang Yuan easily saw some sorrow and grievance in his eyes.
Jiang Yuan's heart softened, "Then come here."
Yin Dong had already leaned forward, put his arms around her shoulders, lowered his head, and gently kissed her forehead.
However, as soon as he sat back in the chair, Jiang Yuan's eyes had already moved away from his face. The two baby carriages seemed to have magic and easily attracted Jiang Yuan's attention.
Yin Dong raised his hand and without explanation, he covered her eyelids from top to bottom, and threatened her in a low voice: "Close your eyes and rest. If you look again, I will push them out."
Jiang Yuan closed his eyes and said, "Then you keep an eye on them. I'm going to sleep."
Yin Dong: “Yeah.”
Jiang Yuan was awakened by the pain. After the anesthetic wore off, she felt a tearing pain in her lower body.
Yin Dong held her hand, hating himself for not being able to share any of her burden.
Jiang Yuan glanced at the empty bedside and asked, "Where's the child?"
Yin Dong: "I pushed them to the next room. They are awake. Auntie is feeding them milk powder. Both brother and sister are good eaters."
After all, milk powder is not as good as breast milk, so Jiang Yuan made up her mind to breastfeed her two babies, but now the two babies can only eat milk powder.
She felt guilty in her heart. Other babies could enjoy the warmth of motherhood in their mother's arms, but her two babies couldn't even be in her mother's arms, let alone be fed by her.
Yin Dong knew what she was thinking from her expression and took the initiative to comfort her: "The doctor said that we need to test and evaluate your physical indicators. We can only breastfeed you when your condition is stable. Don't worry, just wait a little longer."
Jiang Yuan didn't listen at all. She pricked up her ears to listen to the noise next door: "I think I heard them crying. Go and see what's wrong with them."
