Chapter 87 He Has a Fiancee

Chapter 87 He Has a Fiancee

Jiang Yuan said no, but the arc of his chin became even longer.

She rubbed her lips against his, without any intention of dodging.

His eyelids drooped, and his long eyelashes covered the depths of his eyes. Jiang Yuan couldn't see his expression, but she could hear his breathing. Her ears were very close to his chest, and she seemed to hear the frequency of the beating and rising inside was accelerating.

Just as Jiang Yuan's arms tightened around her and a word was about to escape from between her lips and teeth, he suddenly turned his head and let her go.

"Get out."

Without even raising his eyelids, he ordered her in a deep voice.

Jiang Yuan's body temperature dropped to freezing point in an instant. She slowly stood up and got off him obediently. Without saying a word, she moved a few steps to the side, then straightened her clothes and whispered, "Then I'll go out first."

He suddenly spoke from behind, his voice still a little hoarse, "If you quit, I will transfer the money to your card every month."

Jiang Yuan paused.

She was silent for a few seconds, then turned her head, looked at him, and raised the corners of her lips slightly: "What's wrong? Did I delay your work?"

"I will keep my distance from you during working hours and try not to disturb you."

Yin Dong stared at her for a few seconds, then suddenly said, "I'll give you 200,000 every month. I can always add more if it's not enough. You can develop some hobbies, such as shopping, playing ball, playing games... Be good and don't cause trouble for me. You can do whatever you want."

Jiang Yuan silently considered the proposal carefully in her heart.

Isn't he just treating her like a canary? The conditions he offered were very tempting. Two hundred thousand almost covered two-thirds of her monthly debt.

He was really generous. She could just find an excuse and ask for money, and it was not impossible to pay off the remaining 1.7 million debt in one go.

"Can I refuse?"

Jiang Yuan spoke calmly, his eyelashes blinking, "Reason."

She looked at him straight in the eyes: "Have you never thought about dating me at all? Was it just a spur of the moment action last night? Do you still think you can buy me off with money?"

He looked at her, his eyelids slowly drooping, and he picked up a cigarette, put it to his lips and lit it.

Jiang Yuan took a deep breath and said calmly, "I won't resign, nor will I sell my body for money. Last night... I thought you liked me. If that's the case, then let's just pretend nothing happened. I won't say anything."

She finished speaking and continued to look at him.

He leaned his head against the back of the chair, chin slightly raised, looking in her direction, and slowly exhaled a puff of cigarette from his mouth. The white tobacco slowly blurred in front of his eyes. Jiang Yuan still couldn't see the expression in his eyes, but being stared at by him like this made her scalp numb for some reason. She tried hard to control her expression and said, "I'm going out first."

Her face was calm, but her eyes showed a sense of loss and sadness that she was trying hard to hide. It was neither deliberate nor obvious, and the scale was just right.

She didn't look at him again, lowered her head and turned to open the door.

As soon as my hand touched the door handle, his deep voice came from behind me, "Do you want to be my girlfriend?"

Jiang Yuan's heartbeat suddenly quickened, and he gripped the door handle without moving for a few seconds.

"I advise you to give up this idea as soon as possible."

Jiang Yuan clenched her hands quietly.

"I have a fiancée. The elders in my family chose her, and unless something unexpected happens, it shouldn't change."

His voice was as calm as if he was just chatting.

Jiang Yuan was very excited. How come she hadn't found out anything about it before?

After a moment of silence, she turned around and saw him smoking a cigarette with a calm look on his face. She had no idea whether what he said was true or false.

"Can you tell me who your fiancée is?"

She watched the expression on his face closely.

He put the cigarette away, a hint of impatience in his eyes, "Do I really need to forge a fake fiancée to fool you? Don't ask about things you shouldn't ask about."

Jiang Yuan's heart sank. There was really no need for him to tell such a lie.

Her chest suddenly felt tight, and she didn't even need to pretend to be disappointed. She said softly, "I was abrupt last night. I didn't know about it beforehand."

He glanced at her face, his eyes darkened, and he said in a low voice, "Go out."
