Chapter 606: Confused
The two of them had dinner in a small Hunan restaurant. Because Xu Hui was much quieter and Ji Chuan was not a talkative person to begin with, the two of them had a very quiet meal.
When they came out of the restaurant after dinner, it was already dark. His car was still parked at the entrance of the alley. The two of them walked out of the restaurant and back.

But as soon as she said it, she felt something was wrong. If his mother was really sick because of her, she couldn't show up in public anymore.

He walked around the front of the car, and immediately heard the sound of the car starting. Xu Hui turned around and walked into the alley. The alley was very dark. She took out her mobile phone and turned on the flashlight. The flashlight illuminated a small area under her feet.
However, at a certain moment, her eyes suddenly lit up. Along with the roar of a car engine, two beams of dazzling light shot straight towards her from behind, almost illuminating the entire alley.
A surge of scalding heat suddenly surged into her heart. She stiffened for a moment, then immediately broke into a jog.
