"Wow, Mom, you're truly amazing." Su Jiu gave her a thumbs up.
"Oh my, look! They got their marriage certificate! Your fourth brother posted it on WeChat Moments!" Su's mother showed Su Jiu her WeChat Moments, her face beaming with joy.
"Not bad, my fourth brother is quite cunning, he's managed to get a wife through his schemes." Su Jiu also opened her phone and gave him a like on her WeChat Moments.
"Yes, our family is going to have another member, I'll be very busy." Su's mother smiled from ear to ear, "I guess she'll be having the baby soon."
"Mmm." Su Jiu nodded.
"Let me tell you about your fifth brother," Su's mother continued gossiping. "Your fifth brother's situation is a bit special."
"What's so special about it?" Su Jiu asked curiously.
“It’s your fifth brother. He used to sponsor a poor girl in the mountains. Later, the girl’s parents passed away, and she called him to ask if he could take her in. Your fifth brother agreed.”
“That girl has been living in a small apartment under your fifth brother’s name since she was 10 years old, with a nanny and housekeeper taking care of her.”
"When she turned eighteen, which was last year, she confessed her feelings to your fifth brother," said Su's mother.
