Chapter 48 Murder

"The Countess! The Countess!"

Chi Sui opened his eyes and met Ellie's worried eyes.

After helping Ellie sit up, I found that the carriage had already stopped at the castle gate.

After getting off the carriage, the sun was setting.

Chi Sui was a little dazed, and turned to look at Ai Li: "Ai Li, how long have I slept?"

"All afternoon, my lady."

"At first I thought you were just tired, but then I realized you had been sleeping too long, so I called you, but you were still sleeping."

"No matter how much we called him, he wouldn't wake up. Father has already gone to call the pharmacist."

Chi Sui held his forehead, his head aching a little, wondering if it was because he had slept too long.

When I returned to the bedroom in the old castle, it was already dark. After a quick dinner, Ole came over with the pharmacist.

After the pharmacist's examination, he finally concluded that Chi Sui had simply caught a cold while in the ice cellar.

After drinking the medicine, Chi Sui fell asleep.

That night.

A dark shadow gradually approached.

"Anlu, you have become stronger."

Chi Sui, who should have been asleep, slowly sat up from the bed.

Looking at the shadow on the bed curtains.

The shadow didn't move, but the temperature in the room inexplicably dropped a few degrees.

The candlelight was slowly swallowed up by the inky black.

Chi Sui lifted the bed curtain and looked at the black mist in the mirror.

After a long time, a man walked out of the mirror.

It's Andrew.

He was surrounded by black mist, and his eyes looking at Chi Sui were evil and cold.

"Chi Sui."

"You're the one who killed me."

An Lu spoke slowly, his voice hoarse and cold.

Chi Sui tilted his head, the corner of his mouth curled up: "I hurt you? I obviously saved you."

"I have released you from your bond with Weir, freeing you from slavery."

"Shut up!"

An Lu suddenly roared, and the black mist gradually enveloped Chi Sui.

"It was you! You instigated me to kill Veer! You made me a wanted criminal!"

"If it weren't for you..."

An Lu's voice was choked with sobs, and the following words seemed to be stuck in his throat.

Chi Sui scoffed: "Let me say it for you."

"If it weren't for me, you wouldn't have killed Lilia."

Andrew's eyes were bloodshot: "You guessed it."

The feeling of black mist corroding the skin is not good.

Chi Sui frowned and slowly raised his hand. In his palm was a ring with a dark brown gemstone.

The moment Anlu saw the ring, his pupils contracted: "How could it be here with you!"

He stretched out his hand to take it, but Chi Sui withdrew his hand, and traces of golden light slowly emanated from his body.

The golden light dispelled some of the darkness. Chi Sui raised his eyes and played with the ring in his hand: "Lilia gave it to me."

"She asked me to give it back to you."

An Lu had an inexplicable expression on his face. He seemed to have suddenly calmed down, and no one knew what he was thinking.

"Ten days ago, you killed Weir and went to find your lover, Lilia."

"But when you found her and wanted to run away with her, she rejected you and asked you to leave the desolate land."

"You felt abandoned by her, so you killed her in a rage."

"Use the method used to make the maiden incense to make Lilia die in agony."

An Lu still had no expression: "You know."

"How do you know?"

Chi Sui raised his eyebrows: "Lilia told me after she died."

An Lu's brows and eyes were gloomy, like a lion about to explode.

"Lilia doesn't want to go with you because Weil discovered your relationship a long time ago and detained her adoptive mother."

"After Will's death, Victor learned about your relationship with Lilia through clues."

"Victor found Lilia and threatened her adoptive mother to cooperate with them in capturing you."

"Lilia couldn't ignore her adoptive mother, but she didn't want to obey Victor's orders, so she deliberately lingered in the place where you two had your first engagement."

"She waited for you, and at the same time avoided Victor's men."

"She didn't dare tell you the reason, fearing that you would help her after you knew the truth and end up losing your life."

As Chi Sui narrated without emotion, An Lu's face became paler and paler. He no longer had the look of wanting to cause trouble for Chi Sui, and he just froze there.

Chi Sui sneered: "She told me that she didn't expect you to kill her."

"You covered her mouth and nose from behind, suffocating her, and then threw her into a vat of warm oil, leaving her to die in agony and suffocation."

"Anlu, you killed the person who loved you most in this world with your own hands."

An Lu staggered back two steps, his expression distorted: "No... I don't believe it... I don't believe it!"

He repeated it over and over again, as if trying to convince himself.

Chi Sui sneered: "Go check it out."

"If you don't believe me, go check it out."

"Her adoptive mother is imprisoned in the dungeon of the Adventurer's Guild."

An Lu's pupils shrank.

Chi Sui spread out her hand, the ring in her hand gleaming brown in the light around her: "You said that the gem on this ring is very similar to Lilia's eyes."

"Go check it out."

"After you find out, come to me and get it."

When An Lu tried to grab it, Chi Sui slapped him in the face and stunned him.

An Lu's skin was corroded with a slap mark. Chi Sui sneered: "Even if you become stronger, you are still no match for me."

"roll!"

The golden light on Chi Sui's body suddenly spread, and the entire bedroom was bathed in golden light. The darkness dissipated, and An Lu's figure disappeared.

Chi Sui stuffed the ring into the drawer, looked at the red spots on his body corroded by the black mist, frowned, and just emo for three seconds before falling asleep.

Have a good night.

The next morning, Chi Sui rushed to the new castle to supervise the construction.
