Chapter 7 The Lady's Thunder Sacred Artifact

rumble

Long Xi suddenly opened his eyes and sat up from the bed.

His forehead was covered in cold sweat, and his black robe with dark gold patterns slowly slipped off his shoulders, revealing his white collarbone and the tight and smooth lines of his muscles.

I dreamed about the past again.

Long Xi raised her almond-shaped eyes and looked outside the castle: "It's raining..."

The man sighed softly, and the loneliness and sadness in his tone sank into the ground with the raindrops.

Count's Castle

Chi Sui's gorgeous clothes were half wet, and the wide floor-length skirt was stained into strange colors by the mud and water.

"My Lady, the bedroom has been tidied. Please go in and rest for a while."

Ellie hurried over, her clothes were all wet, and her light brown curly hair was wet and stuck to her temples.

Chi Sui looked at the dilapidated castle, and the corners of his mouth twitched slowly: "Aili, the first floor is flooded, is the second floor still habitable?"

Ellie tried her best to smile. "My Lady, my father and brother just went to the top of the castle to fix the cowhide waterproof cloth."

"I've checked the bedroom, and it's not leaking much anymore."

Chi Sui sighed and climbed up, picking up the hem of her skirt which had become heavier after getting wet.

Wow, the stairs are covered with wild moss, and you can see strange little bugs crawling on the walls from time to time.

Chi Sui's last line of defense collapsed after seeing the situation in the bedroom.

The Earl's bedroom is big, really big.

Well, why does it look so big at first glance?

Because there was nothing inside except a large moldy wooden bed and a row of moldy wardrobes!

Bad news, there are several cracks as thick as thumbs on the bedroom ceiling.

The good news is that the crack is not facing the bed below.

The ground had obviously been cleaned up, at least the stagnant water had been cleared away.

But the stone floor was still a little damp.

A silk four-piece suit had been put on the huge moldy wooden bed.

If you ignore the musty and damp smell of wild plants throughout the castle, it's still a decent place to stay.

The gorgeous but muddy baroness's attire was taken off, and Chi Sui felt cold and wet all over from her calves down.

Fortunately, Ellie and her mother Mary boiled some hot water in the shabby kitchen on the first floor, and carried it in a wooden basin and bucket for Chi Sui to wash.

Chi Sui couldn't help but touch his chin as he watched Ellie easily carry a half-person-high wooden bucket filled with hot water upstairs.

"Ellie."

"I am here, my lady."

"Do you have any trouble with menstrual cramps?"

"Madam, what is dysmenorrhea?"

Chi Sui: ………drooling with envy.

Ellie has been very strong since she was a child, Mary said when she was heating water for Chi Sui.

In response to this, Chi Sui expressed envy again.

Chi Sui took a nice hot bath and crawled into the damp and cold quilt, feeling the cold air seeping under the bed.

I finally managed to fall asleep, but was woken up in the middle of the night by the urge to pee.

Chi Sui stood up and frantically searched for the wooden barrel in the light of the candlestick that was about to melt.

That’s right, before she was in the palace, she always solved her physiological problems in the wooden tub in her bedroom.

However, no barrel was seen in the bedroom.

"Ellie~~"

Chi Sui opened the door and shouted, but was covered in the mouth by Ellie who came hurriedly.

"Lady, be quiet!"

Chi Sui's eyes turned sharp in an instant.

Seeing that Chi Sui didn't say anything or move, Ai Li slowly let go of her hand.

Under Chi Sui's inquiring gaze, Ellie motioned Chi Sui to follow her.

Chi Sui returned to the Earl's bedroom again.

Ellie opened the curtains a little and motioned Chi Sui to look out the window.

The windows of the Cassio Kingdom were made of that kind of patterned and colored glass, which was light-transmitting but not transparent to people.

Plus it was raining and the windows were closed.

Chi Sui could only see a line of black shadows through the light blue patterned glass.

Unable to see the specific situation clearly, Chi Sui looked at Ai Li in confusion.

Ellie lowered her voice: "There are undead outside."

Chi Sui's eyes widened: "I know there are undead in this world, but generally speaking, undead will not appear in the territory of an owner..."

Chi Sui paused and frowned: "What's more, this is the Earl's Castle, the center of the entire territory."

Ellie shook her head, her expression serious. "No lord has lived here for three years. Without the magic stone, the light formation cannot be activated..."

Chi Sui shuddered: "Even the Earl's castle is like this, the people..."

Ellie sighed: "Before coming here, I went to the Brave Association to ask."

"If the people here want to be protected by the Light Formation, they usually hand over coins to the nearest Brave Association and obtain the protection of the Brave Association's magic circle."

Chi Sui lowered his eyes and asked, "Will the undead outside come in?"

Ellie's jaw tightened. "My brother is here..."

"It should be... fine..."

creak

As soon as Ellie finished speaking, the dilapidated gate of the castle sent a message to the people living inside: I'm open~

Ellie became nervous instantly. She quickly locked the bedroom door, took out the wood-chopping knife from her waist, and guarded the door tightly.

Chi Sui sighed and called the system: "444, I want to extract the online world now."

"444 is at your service! Are you sure you want to use 100 gold coins to draw the first online world?"

"Sure."

"Gold coins are being deducted."

The box at the end of the bed popped open by itself, and some of the gold coins inside disappeared instantly.

Fortunately, Ellie was standing behind the bedroom door, and because there was a thunderstorm outside, she didn't notice the movement here.

Chi Sui looked at the big turntable of the online world and quickly reached out and tapped it.
