Chapter 183 The Boy Evil
Li Yanjing nodded, "A little bit."
"It just so happens that I have to go out for business tomorrow and the day after tomorrow. I'd like to ask your dad to come pick you up and stay at the old house for a few days?" Li Zhi suggested, "You haven't seen your grandparents and uncle for a few days. It's a good time to go over and spend some time with them."
"The day after tomorrow?" Li Yanjing asked, "Mom, what are you going to do the day after tomorrow?"
"I've taken a job privately. I have to go to another city to help summon the spirit of a long-dead person." Li Zhi paused, then suddenly thought of something. Her beautiful eyebrows raised slightly, and she continued, "I'll bring you a gift when the time comes. I'm sure you'll like it."
Li Yanjing's eyes lit up and she asked curiously, "Mom, what gift are you going to bring me?"
"Keep it a secret for now. You'll know when the time comes." Li Zhi reached out and touched his head. "You'll just stay with your dad for two days."
"Okay, then I'll wait for you to come back, Mom." Li Yanjing responded.
"Okay, it's getting late, let's go to bed." Li Zhi said.
Li Yanjing nodded, turned his head and closed his eyes obediently.
......
The next day.
As soon as Xie Tingzhou picked up Li Yanjing, Zhou Xian drove to the door of the Gu family villa and stopped.
After receiving the news, Li Zhi slowly stood up from the sofa and walked outside.
Zhou Xian noticed Li Zhi coming out of the villa and immediately opened the car door and got out.
"Good morning, Master Li."
Li Zhi walked to the front of the car and stopped, nodding slightly, "Good morning."
Zhou Xian reached out to open the passenger door and said with a smile, "Master Li, get in the car quickly."
Li Zhi responded and sat down.
Zhou Xian closed the car door, turned around and walked to the other end of the car, and sat in the driver's seat.
"Master Li, have you had breakfast? If not, how about I take you to have breakfast first, and then we'll go over there?"
"It's okay, I've eaten." Li Zhi turned to look at him and asked, "Has Auntie passed away?"
Zhou Xian fastened his seatbelt. "Don't worry, Master Li. She left early this morning."
"Okay." Li Zhi said.
Zhou Xian started the car and turned around to leave. He glanced at her out of the corner of his eye and said, "Master Li, is Brother Lu Huai really possessed by an evil spirit?"
He paused and continued, "It's the son of the friend my mom asked about, the one we're going to see now."
"It's not about being possessed by evil spirits. It has nothing to do with ghosts. I can only confirm it after I go there and see it in person." Li Zhi replied.
Zhou Xian nodded, "Oh, okay."
Li Zhi hummed, looked away, took out his phone from his pocket, and started watching videos to pass the time.
Half an hour later, the car slowly stopped in front of the Lu family's door.
"Master Li, we're here."
Li Zhi put away her cell phone, unbuckled her seat belt, opened the car door, and got out of the car swiftly.
Then he raised his foot and walked into the villa with Zhou Xian.
......
In the living room.
"Jiahui, how long will it take for the master you invited to arrive?"
Mother Zhou put down the teacup in her hand and looked up at Mother Lu, who was fidgeting uncomfortably. "I just sent a message asking, they'll be here soon."
Mother Lu looked at Mr. Lu sitting next to her, then turned her head to look upstairs and sighed, "Oh, I don't know what sins my husband and I committed in our past lives that made my little Huai suffer so much in this life!"
"Don't worry, the master I invited is very powerful. She will definitely find a way to solve it." Zhou's mother comforted her.
Mother Lu wiped the tears from the corners of her eyes and nodded, "I hope so."
Father Lu didn't hold out much hope and patted her shoulder. "If it really doesn't work, we'll just let him be. It's not a big deal to lock him up every day. Maybe if he eats vegetarian food and worships Buddha, his health will get better."
Just as he finished speaking, there was a sudden noise at the door.
The three of them immediately looked in the direction of the sound.
When Zhou's mother saw who was coming, her eyes lit up and she stood up from the sofa, "Here I come, here I come."
Mother Lu's gaze fell on Li Zhi who was walking over. She was slightly stunned for a moment, then reacted and a hint of surprise flashed in her eyes.
She knew that the person invited was a female master, but she didn't expect that she was so young and beautiful, like a fairy.
It was the first time that Zhou's mother met Master Li Zhi. She was so excited that she didn't even have time to look at her son who was following her. "Master Li!"
Li Zhi: "Hello, Auntie."
Mother Zhou responded with a smile, turned around and introduced the Lu couple, "This is the Master Li I was talking about."
Mother Lu: "Hello, Master Li."
"Hello." Li Zhi said, "Take me to see it now."
Mother Lu nodded, "Okay, Master Li, come with me."
Li Zhi hummed, turned around and followed her upstairs.
Soon, everyone stopped at the door of Lu Huai's room.
"Open the door." Mother Lu said to the two servants guarding the door.
One of the servants answered, immediately took out the key from his pocket and opened the door that was locked from the outside.
After Mrs. Lu ordered the servants to leave, she turned to look at Li Zhi beside her and said, "Master Li, my son is inside. Let's go in."
Li Zhi nodded and walked in first.
I saw a thin young man sitting by the window in the room.
He has a handsome face, with slender and tranquil eyebrows. His eyes are slightly lowered, with a soft light in them, calm and without any disturbance.
His nose was straight and elegant, his lips were lightly pursed, his skin was of a sickly pale color, and he seemed to be isolated from all worldly desires, living in seclusion.
Li Zhi confirmed what he had guessed in his mind at a glance and understood what was going on.
Lu Huai raised his eyes and looked at the people who came in. His gaze paused when he passed by Li Zhi, who was in the lead, and finally fell on Lu's mother who was following behind her.
His expression was quite calm. He asked, "Mom, what are you doing?"
"Son, this is Master Li we invited for you. Let her come and see what's going on with you." Mother Lu explained.
Lu Huai frowned slightly, "Mom, how many times do I have to tell you that I'm not possessed?"
"He is indeed not possessed." Li Zhi suddenly said.
As soon as she said this, all eyes turned to her.
"Master Li, is my son okay?" asked Lu's mother.
"Something's wrong, but it's not a possession."
Li Zhi retracted her gaze and turned to look at Mother Lu who had stepped forward. She continued, "The reason he's been weak and sickly since childhood, emotionally indifferent, and uninterested in everything, and now he's even disillusioned with the world and wants to become a monk, is because he's born with the evil spirit of a child, destined to have a miserable life."
Father Lu looked puzzled when he heard this, and asked in confusion: "Master Li, what is this Tongzisha?"
"In his previous life, your son was a boy serving under the Bodhisattva Guanyin. He made a mistake and was reincarnated into the human world," Li Zhi said. "And the things he often dreams about are his memories from his past life."
