Chapter 211 Asking about the situation at that time

"I helped you dispel the negative energy in your body, so you'll be fine now." Li Zhi explained, "Otherwise, even if you go to the hospital and get an IV drip, you won't be cured."

Aunt Mei saw that the boy's originally red cheeks gradually returned to normal and his spirit and energy improved visibly. She turned her head and looked at Li Zhi beside her. Now she really believed that she was a master in that field.

The boy looked up at Li Zhi and said gratefully, "Thank you, beautiful sister!"

He paused, then suddenly thought of something and asked, "So, beautiful sister, are you a ghost exorcist?"

Li Zhi hummed, raised her fair chin slightly, and said, "If it's convenient, tell me the details of your sighting of the woman in red on the fourth floor in the early morning."

"That would definitely be convenient!" The boy moved aside. "How about you come in and sit for a while, and I'll explain it to you slowly?"

"It's okay, no need, just talk about it here." Li Zhi said.

"Okay." The boy replied.

Li Zhi nodded, "Tell me about it."

"I came back around 2 a.m., and when I first walked into the building, I didn't hear the baby crying. I thought it would finally be quiet tonight and I could have a good sleep. But as soon as I got to the third floor, I heard a baby crying."

"I ran up and saw a woman in red with disheveled hair standing with her back to the door of Room 401."

"The crying came from the baby in her arms."

"As soon as I saw it, I thought, wow, they've caught someone, and I immediately went up to her to argue with her."

"I asked her what she was doing standing in the hallway with a child in her arms, not even trying to comfort him. She just let the child cry. I asked her what she wanted to do."

"As soon as I finished speaking, the baby stopped crying, and then I saw the woman in red slowly turn around."

"But when I saw her face clearly, I was so scared that my soul almost flew away."

"She was covered in blood, her neck was broken, with only half of the flesh still attached. Her belly was protruding, and the baby in her arms seemed to have just taken shape."

"Then the baby suddenly opened its eyes. Its eyes were completely black, with no whites at all. It giggled at me..."

"I got goosebumps all over my body and felt a chill running straight to my head. I was so scared that I immediately turned around and ran downstairs."

"But because I was so scared, I slipped and fell down the stairs. My eyes went dark and I passed out."

"Later, at dawn, someone came downstairs and saw me and woke me up."

"I looked around and found that I was fine. I wondered if I was hallucinating last night."

"I wasn't sure what was going on, but I told him what had happened and then I went upstairs and went home to sleep."

"Beautiful sister, this is all I know. Do you have anything else to ask?" the boy asked.

"No, just have a good rest and we won't disturb you." Li Zhi said.

"Oh, okay." The boy suddenly thought of something and asked, "So what's going on? If I really encountered a ghost, why didn't the female ghost hurt me?"

"Every wrong has its perpetrator, and it wasn't you who killed her, so why would she harm you for no reason?" Li Zhi replied.

"I see." The boy nodded. "So if she appeared at the door of Room 401, does that mean the person who killed her is a resident of Room 401?"

"Normally, that's the case, but I'll have to meet her in person tonight to find out the details." Li Zhi paused and continued, "By the way, does anyone know if anyone lives in Room 401?"

The boy shook his head. "I don't know. I usually sleep at home during the day and go out at night. Anyway, I've never seen anyone coming out of 401."

"What about 402?" Li Zhi asked again.

"No one in 402 has seen him either," the boy replied. "Why don't you ask other people in this building? Maybe they've seen him or know him."

"Okay, I got it. Let's go." Li Zhi greeted him, then retracted her gaze and turned to walk downstairs.

Aunt Mei followed her and asked curiously, "Lizhi, where are we going now?"

"Go to Room 401 and knock on the door." Li Zhi said.

......

After stopping at the door of Room 401, Li Zhi raised his hand and knocked on the door twice.

I waited for two minutes, but no one came out to open the door.

"Is there no one living here or is there no one at home?" Aunt Mei said to herself.

Li Zhi didn't say anything, turned around and walked to the door of 402 and knocked again.

There was no one there either.

Aunt Mei thought for a moment and said kindly, "How about I ask someone to find out if anyone lives in 401 and 402?"

Li Zhi didn't refuse. She turned around and looked at her, nodding slightly. "Okay, Aunt Mei, please ask the other people in this building for me."

"Okay, okay." Aunt Mei nodded. "So are you guys waiting here or something?"

Li Zhi's eyes flickered slightly. "I'll walk around this building again. Aunt Mei, if you have any questions, just send me a message on your phone. You don't have to come back here to find me. I have other things to deal with, so I need to leave first."

"Okay, I understand." Aunt Mei replied, then turned and went downstairs.

Li Zhi glanced at her leaving figure, then quickly looked away, his gaze falling back on the closed door of Room 401, looking at it thoughtfully.

"Did you see anything?" Xie Tingzhou asked.

Li Zhi turned to look at him, "I want to go into Room 401 and take a look."

Xie Tingzhou: "How do I get in?"

"Just go through the wall." Li Zhi replied.

Xie Tingzhou naturally had no doubts about her ability and nodded, "Okay, I'll keep an eye on her for you."

Li Zhi nodded, and immediately used magic to pass through the wall and into the living room.

She took a quick look around and found that the room was very tidy and had signs of life inside. It was obvious that someone usually lived there.

Li Zhi's eyes fell on the entrance and exit again. He saw that the back of the door was covered with talismans, and a peach wood sword and a Bagua mirror were hung on the door frame. It seemed that they were used to prevent the female ghost in red from coming in.

She withdrew her gaze, turned around and walked into the room.

It's very simple inside, with just a bed and a wardrobe.

The quilt was neatly folded, and there were only one or two men's clothes in the closet. Apart from that, there was nothing else that could provide any information.

Li Zhi walked out of the room, went to the bathroom and kitchen, and then went out through the wall.

Xie Tingzhou looked at Li Zhi who came out and asked, "How is it?"

"There are people living in there, and there are no signs of anyone dying there." Li Zhi replied.

"So the female ghost did not die in Room 401," said Xie Tingzhou.
