Chapter 95 Milk Tea

Chapter 95 Milk Tea

"So that's how it is." Jiang Ruyun nodded, reached out and touched the kitten in Li Yanjing's arms, and exclaimed: "What a beautiful cat."

Li Zhi came over in her wheelchair, glanced at the kitten, and finally her eyes fell on Xie Tingzhou. She asked, "How do you know he likes kittens?"

Even her mother didn't know.

Xie Tingzhou lowered his eyes and looked at her, "I guessed."

Li Zhi's eyes moved slightly, and she immediately thought that he must have guessed it from the incident of cat abuse.

Suddenly, I realized that I was not as meticulous as him. I simply thought that Li Yanjing could not bear to see good people being bullied by bad people and not getting the justice they deserved, but I did not think of such a simple other level.

Li Zhi collected his thoughts and asked, "Has the cat been named yet?"

"Not yet. He said he would let you get up." Xie Tingzhou replied.

Li Yanjing walked up to Li Zhi and handed the cat in his arms to her, "I can't think of a name."

"Let me name it?" Li Zhi raised her beautiful eyebrows slightly, reached out to take the kitten, looked at its snow-white body, and blurted out, "Then let's call it Xiaobai."

Gu Yu couldn't help but burst out laughing when he heard this, "No, sister, your name is too simple and crude."

Li Zhi is really bad at naming. Even the name of Xianyue was given to her when she saw a netizen's ID with this name. She thought it sounded pretty, so she remembered it.

Then, by chance, it was used on Xianyue.

Li Yanjing naturally listened to Li Zhi and said, "Then call him Xiaobai."

Li Zhi was also excited by Gu Yu's ridicule, "Wait, let me think about it."

She rubbed her chin with her fair fingers, and after thinking seriously for a few seconds, she said, "Milk tea? Fried chicken? Ice cream cone?"

Gu Yu suppressed his laughter and coughed lightly, "Sister, aren't the names of the food you mentioned all the time?"

"Milk tea, please." Xie Tingzhou said.

"Milk tea is good, I think it's good too." Jiang Ruyun agreed.

Li Yanjing nodded. This name was indeed much better than Xiaobai, and it was also what Li Zhi liked to drink. "Then let's have milk tea."

Li Zhi lifted the kitten in her hand, looked it in the eye, and said slowly, "Then your name will be Milk Tea from now on. You're lucky to be with me."

Milk tea seemed to understand what she said and called out to her, "Meow."

"This box contains everything needed for milk tea," said Xie Tingzhou.

Li Zhi put the milk tea back into Li Yanjing's arms and glanced at the large cardboard box at his feet. "Okay, I got it."

Xie Tingzhou hummed, and seeing that it was almost time, he said to Jiang Ruyun and Gu Yuntian, "Dad, Mom, I'll go back first."

When Li Zhi heard Xie Tingzhou address her own parents, the corners of her mouth couldn't help but twitch.

No, is that right?

When did they start calling each other such intimate names? She didn't even realize it.

When did this vixen secretly bribe them all?

Gu Yuntian was slightly stunned for a moment, then reacted and said with a smile: "Okay, when you go back, say hello to your parents for me. We can get together when we have time."

Xie Tingzhou nodded, "Okay, I'll pass it on."

"Stop the boat and be careful on the road." Jiang Ruyun said.

"I know." Xie Tingzhou replied.

Seeing them all like this, Gu Yu naturally said, "Bye, brother-in-law."

Xie Tingzhou responded, retracted his gaze, and fixed his eyes on Li Zhi and her son.

He reached out and touched the top of Li Yanjing's head, then quickly let it go. Then he said to Li Zhi in a gentle voice, "Let's go."

Li Zhi hummed, "Bye."

After Xie Tingzhou left, she withdrew her gaze, turned to look at Jiang Ruyun and Gu Yuntian, and asked, "Dad, Mom, what's going on with you?"

"Hmm?" Jiang Ruyun looked a little confused. "What's going on?"

"How does he call you parents?" Li Zhi asked.

"What's the problem with that? You've already had the baby, and now you're just short of getting the marriage certificate and holding the wedding. There's nothing wrong with changing your mind and calling us in advance."

Jiang Ruyun paused, then suddenly realized something and said, "Yes, if you are not in a hurry to hold the wedding, then get the certificate first."

Gu Yuntian nodded. "Your mother is right. Why don't you find a good day to get the certificate from Ting Zhou?"

Li Zhi coughed lightly and said, "Let's talk about it later. There's no rush."

Jiang Ruyun was just making a suggestion, not forcing her to do anything. "We're just saying this. If you don't want to do it so quickly, then wait a little longer."

"Okay." Li Zhi responded.

After staying for a while, Li Zhi took Li Yanjing upstairs.

Gu Yu helped move the large cardboard box that was half a person's height into Li Zhi's room.

He opened the carton and took out everything inside.

We have cat food, cat bowls, cat cans, fully automatic cat litter boxes, and more.

"Let's put this cat litter box on the balcony." Li Zhi said.

"Okay." Gu Yu nodded, opened a few bags of cat litter and poured it in, then moved the fully automatic cat litter box to the balcony.

Li Zhi retracted her gaze and turned to look at Li Yanjing, "Go and take Nai Cha over so he can get familiar with the litter box. That way he'll know where to go to the toilet in the future."

Li Yanjing responded, walked towards the balcony with Milk Tea in his arms, and put him into the cat litter box.

After Milk Tea went in, he first sniffed around, then found a place and started digging up the cat litter with his front paws, then turned around and started peeing.

After it finished peeing, it turned back, covered the urine with cat litter, then walked out of the litter box and meowed at Li Yanjing.

"This little milk tea is smart." Gu Yu said with a smile when he saw this.

Li Yanjing nodded, "Yeah!"

After returning to the room and arranging everything in place, Gu Yu drank some milk tea and then left.

Li Zhi yawned, looking a little tired. Looking at Li Yanjing playing with Nai Cha with a cat toy, she asked, "How about going to your grandparents' house?"

Li Yanjing raised his eyes and looked at her. "It's pretty good. I have a younger uncle who is like an uncle."

He paused, suddenly thought of something, put down the cat toy in his hand, took out two bank cards from his pocket and handed them to Li Zhi.

Li Zhi raised an eyebrow and asked, "Did your grandparents give it to you?"

"One is from my grandparents, and the other was given to me by my uncle," Li Yanjing replied. "Neither has a password."

Li Zhi knew without thinking that the money inside was at least seven figures. "Sure, son, you are richer than your mother now. I don't want to work hard anymore. You can support me in the future."

"I don't want it. I'll give them both to you to support you." Li Yanjing said as he stuffed both cards into her hands.

Li Zhi's dark eyes were filled with a faint smile, and she curled the corners of her lips, "Okay, then I'll keep it."

"Okay." Li Yanjing turned around, picked up the cat toy again, and continued playing with Nai Cha.

"By the way, how do you get along with your dad?" Li Zhi asked.

Li Yanjing paused holding the cat toy and said, "Not bad."
