Chapter 133: Claiming Sovereignty

Chapter 133: Claiming Sovereignty

Qin Huan nodded, "I understand."

As long as no one dies, it's fine. As for his rival's future misfortune, that's what he deserves. He just needs to get the punishment he deserves.

"Are you staying in the hotel behind?" Li Zhi asked.

"Yes." Qin Huan responded.

"Tell me your room number and I'll come over to your place at night to help you break the evil spell cast on you," said Li Zhi.

"Okay, I'm in 602." Qin Huan replied.

Li Zhi hummed, "You can go now. I'll give you news before I go over there."

"Why are you chasing me away?" Qin Huan regained his previous uninhibited look and looked at her with a smile. "We are both alone anyway, and I don't have anything else to do. Isn't it okay for me to stay here and chat with you?"

Li Zhi raised an eyebrow. "You're a public figure, a big star. You're so brazenly hanging out with a woman. Aren't you afraid someone might take a picture and post it online?"

Qin Huan raised his hand and smoothed his hair. "So what? I'm not in a relationship with you, and we haven't done anything intimate. We're just chatting. There's nothing to be afraid of."

"But who told you that I'm alone?" Li Zhi said.

Qin Huan glanced at the coconuts on the table and asked, "Didn't you just buy this coconut by yourself, and then carry it here and lie down alone?"

"That doesn't prove I'm a human being," Li Zhi said.

"Then where is your friend? Why isn't he with you?" Qin Huan asked.

Li Zhi retracted her gaze and fixed it on the father and son playing not far away. She raised her fair chin slightly and said, "Over there."

Qin Huan followed her gaze, passing by Xie Tingzhou and Li Yanjing before finally settling on the girl a little distance behind them. "Are you talking about the girl taking a selfie with her phone?"

"No, it's the one in front of the girl, a big one and a small one playing in the sand." Li Zhi paused, glanced at him out of the corner of her eye, and continued, "My husband and my son."

"What..." Qin Huan was stunned when he heard that. Then, his pupils dilated slightly, and his eyes were filled with shock and astonishment that could not be concealed. He said in disbelief, "Your husband and your son?!"

"Yes." Li Zhi responded.

Qin Huan couldn't help but twitch the corner of his mouth. He turned his head to look at her, looking her up and down, unable to believe that this was true.

"No, are you sure you're not lying to me? You look like you're only in your early twenties, right?"

"Why would I lie to you?" Li Zhi replied.

"No, you must be lying to me. I've been talking to you for so long, there's no way they didn't see it." Qin Huan shook his head. "If it was really your husband, he would have come here a long time ago. How could he still be there with the child as if nothing had happened?"

Seeing that he didn't believe her, Li Zhi asked, "How about I call them over now?"

"Okay, you shout." Qin Huan said.

Li Zhi picked up the phone, lowered her eyes to look at the screen, opened WeChat, and sent a message to Xie Tingzhou.

......

The other side.

Xie Tingzhou heard the message alert sound on his phone, took out his phone from his pocket, saw the message from Li Zhi, and looked up at her.

He retracted his gaze, lowered his eyes to look at Li Yanjing who was squatting and digging in the sand, and said, "Let's play later. Your mother asked us to come over."

Upon hearing this, Li Yanjing stopped what he was doing, stood up with the shovel in hand, turned to look at Li Zhi, and said with some confusion: "Isn't that person still there? Doesn't that mean the work hasn't been completed yet?"

Xie Tingzhou extended his hand to him, "I don't know, let's go over first."

Li Yanjing nodded, put down the small shovel in his hand, patted the remaining sand on his hands, and followed him towards Li Zhi.

Soon, the father and son walked up to Li Zhi and stopped.

Xie Tingzhou released her hand, glanced at Qin Huan who was sitting on the recliner next to her, and asked, "What's wrong?"

Li Zhi stood up from the recliner slowly and stretched. "He doesn't believe I have a husband and children, so he called you here to prove it to me."

Xie Tingzhou raised his eyebrows imperceptibly, stretched out his arm and pulled Li Zhi into his arms. His eyes fell on Qin Huan again, and he nodded slightly as if to claim his sovereignty. "Hello, I'm her husband."

He paused, then pulled Li Yanjing, who was standing in front of him, over and continued, "This is our son."

Qin Huan looked at the father and son's very similar faces, and naturally he would not doubt their true relationship.

He looked up at Li Zhi in Xie Tingzhou's arms again and found that the little boy's mouth was very similar to hers. Now he had to believe that this was true, and they were indeed a family of three.

Qin Huan was a little embarrassed. He didn't expect that when he had a rare chance to chat up someone, the person's type and personality was something he really liked, but he didn't expect that the other party was already a married woman.

He collected his thoughts, raised his hand to touch the tip of his nose, and said tactfully, "Well, I won't bother you anymore."

Li Zhi hummed, "Go and have fun by yourself. Remember not to run around at night. Just wait for me in your room."

Qin Huan coughed lightly. If someone didn't know, they would think she was talking about something ambiguous. She nodded and said, "Okay, I understand."

Xie Tingzhou glanced at Qin Huan's departing figure, then quickly retracted his gaze, his eyes settling on Li Zhi in his arms. He said with a half-smile, "I'll wait for you in the room obediently tonight."

Li Zhi pulled out of his embrace, sat down on the recliner again, and explained, "What are you thinking about? I went to help him break the evil spell."

Xie Tingzhou walked over to the recliner next to her, where Qin Huan had just sat, and sat down. He asked, "What kind of evil magic?"

Li Zhi leaned back slightly, lying lazily, and said concisely: "He's been borrowed by someone's luck. In the early stage, nothing will go well for him, but later it will affect his life and safety. However, the person who borrowed his luck will live a prosperous life."

Xie Tingzhou understood, "That's it."

Li Zhi raised her hand and pointed at the other two coconuts on the table that had straws inserted but had not yet been drunk. She said to the father and son, "These are for you two. Drink quickly. You must be thirsty after playing for so long."

Li Yanjing nodded obediently, reached out and hugged one of them in his arms, then walked to the recliner on the other side of her and sat down, swinging his legs and started drinking.

After watching him drink for a while, Li Zhi retracted her gaze, turned to look at Xie Tingzhou, and asked, "By the way, when I saw a stranger coming to talk to me, why didn't you come over? Aren't you curious?"

Xie Tingzhou looked at him, his eyes reflecting deeply. "I wanted to come over, but seeing that you didn't chase him away and instead started chatting with him, I guessed that you were looking for work for yourself and wanted to earn his money, so I didn't come over to disturb you. I thought I would come over after you were done here."
