Chapter 206 No one can separate us
The two ultimately failed to reach an agreement.
Huo Nanxiao held Xia Xingxing captive, so Xia Ningxi couldn't take the child away.
She took a taxi home by herself that night, and was exhausted when she got home.

Chu Xinran said, "You've already given birth to his child, how could he not want it?"
Xia Ningxi said, "Yes, the child has already been born, but he is unwilling."
Chu Xinran clenched her fists angrily: "How can this be? Does he still want to promote Xia Wanwan to the top?"
"Probably," Xia Ningxi said calmly.
Chu Xinran gritted her teeth in anger: "How can there be such a person? How irresponsible! Are you just going to stand by and watch?"
Xia Ningxi smiled slightly: "Even if I don't want to stand by and watch, I can't. The choice is in his hands."
"But Huo Yuan is your own son. You wouldn't allow him to give Huo Yuan away to someone else, would you?" Chu Xinran said excitedly.
Xia Ningxi shook her head: "No, he can only choose one between Xia Wanwan and Huo Yuan."
She gave Huo Nanxiao the right to choose: to keep the child or to keep Xia Wanwan. She believed that Huo Nanxiao would know the answer.

Xia Ningxi smiled and said, "I'm going upstairs to run a bath for the child. Are you staying tonight? I have a guest room next door."

Chu Xinran drove away.
Xia Ningxi went upstairs.
One child was talking to himself in a corner while holding a Snow White doll, while the other sat on the bed with a tablet computer, his expression complicated.
Xia Ningxi walked towards Huo Yuan, only to find him reading the latest news reports.
Upon seeing Xia Ningxi arrive, Huo Yuan was so startled that he quickly closed the webpage, as if afraid of being seen by Xia Ningxi.
Xia Ningxi smiled and said, "It's okay, you can watch. Don't worry about me. You can watch whatever you're curious about or want to know."
Huo Yuan bit his lip and whispered, "Mommy, is Daddy going to abandon Wanwan, Mommy?"
Xia Ningxi was taken aback and said, "No."
"So Daddy's going to give up on you?" Huo Yuan asked again.
Xia Ningxi said, "Silly child, these are all adult matters, don't think too much about them."
"Mommy hasn't told me yet," Huo Yuan said.
Xia Ningxi forced a smile: "Who to choose and who not to choose is your daddy's decision. No one else can interfere."
"But if Daddy chooses Wanwan's Mommy, will I never see you again?" Huo Yuan pressed.
Xia Ningxi said, "If you had to choose between your daddy and me, Ayuan, who would you choose?"
Huo Yuan bit his lip and thought for a long time: "Can I have both?"
“Ah Yuan, not everything in this world can be perfect. Some things are not as simple as you imagine, and what you want may not be possible,” Xia Ningxi replied.
Huo Yuan lowered his head: "Do I really have to choose one of you?"
"Mm." Xia Ningxi nodded.
Huo Yuan said, "Daddy won't let me leave."
“He can’t hold you back as long as you want to leave,” Xia Ningxi said.
Huo Yuan shook his head: "No, Daddy is powerful and keeps a very close watch on me. He won't let me leave."

Huo Yuan was puzzled.
Xia Ningxi said, "Okay, go take a bath, be a good girl. Go find your clothes, and I'll run the hot water for you."
"Okay." Huo Yuan was very obedient, blushing as he ran to find his clothes.
Xia Ningxi watched the little guy's departing figure, feeling a warmth in her heart. If all three children could stay by her side, she would surely be the happiest person in the world.

After giving the two children a bath, she turned off the lights and went to sleep with them.

Xia Chuchu was overjoyed: "That's great! I also want Brother Xingxing to teach me how to solve the Rubik's Cube. I don't know how to solve it when he's not home. But, if Brother Xingxing comes back, will Brother Huo Yuan be taken away by Uncle Youqian?"
Upon hearing this, Huo Yuan instinctively gripped Xia Ningxi's sleeve with his small hand. It was a very subtle gesture, but Xia Ningxi noticed it.
She gently pulled Huo Yuan into her arms and whispered, "No, our family of four will be reunited soon, and no one can separate us."
