Xia Xingxing quickly opened the back door and climbed in.
Huo Nanxiao sat in the driver's seat, preparing to start the car.
Xia Ningxi said, "I can take a taxi back, you don't need to take me."
Huo Nanxiao ignored her and calmly said, "Fasten your seatbelt."
Xia Ningxi did not move.
Huo Nanxiao turned to the side, his long arm swept across her waist, found the seat belt, and neatly fastened it for her.
Huo Nanxiao remembered Xia Ningxi's home and could drive her directly to her doorstep without needing navigation.
"Daddy, can I go play with my little sister Chu Chu?" Xia Xingxing asked cautiously.
Huo Nanxiao said, "Go."
The little guy was overjoyed and quickly opened the car door, running towards the two-story building next door.
Xia Ningxi unbuckled her seatbelt and prepared to get out of the car.

Xia Ningxi's hand froze as she opened the car door. She was surprised that Huo Nanxiao would thank her.
She tried to calm her wildly beating heart and said, "You're welcome. Anyone would have done the same."
"Really?" Huo Nanxiao asked seriously.
Xia Ningxi nodded: "Yes."
Huo Nanxiao looked at Xia Ningxi's profile with a complicated expression, wanting to say something, but in the end he swallowed the words that were about to come out.
He said, "I'll pick you up tomorrow morning and take you to the research center."
Xia Ningxi refused: "No need."
Huo Nanxiao: "I'll come over to pick up the kids at eight in the morning."
He didn't give Xia Ningxi a chance to refuse at all.
