Chapter 28 Don't let her steal your daddy

Huo Yuan's worried face finally broke into a long-lost smile: "You've finally come. Why did it take you so long to see me?"
“I have a lot of things to do,” Xia Xingxing replied.
Huo Yuan's face fell. "Oh, I see."
"You can't be sad, okay? I told you I'd come see you when I have time. You have to be good and be a strong child. Even without your friends and adults around, you have to be strong, understand?" Xia Xingxing adopted an adult-like demeanor.
Huo Yuan nodded obediently: "I understand."
Just then, there was a knock on the door.
"Ah Yuan, are you up? May I come in?" It was Xia Luoluo's voice.
Huo Yuan's expression immediately changed, and he hurriedly said to Xia Xingxing, "You'd better hide quickly, someone's coming."
"Who is it? You look so scared." Xia Xingxing opened her eyes wide in confusion.

Charlotte walked in.
Huo Yuan looked tense.
"Why do you look so pale?" Xia Luoluo walked over and sat down next to Huo Yuan.
Huo Yuan lowered his head and remained silent.
"Did you sleep well last night?" Xia Luoluo smiled, put down the food box, walked over and sat down next to Huo Yuan, gently holding his hand.
Huo Yuan instinctively tried to avoid it.

Charlotte asked, "Why didn't your daddy keep me here when he asked you questions last night?"
"I..." Huo Yuan lowered his head very low.
Xia Luoluo sneered: "You don't actually think your mommy can come and keep you company while I'm gone, do you? Let me tell you, that's impossible. Your mommy will only wake up if you obediently listen to me, but you're not listening..."
