Chapter 309 Was That a Dream?
Xia Ningxi had a very long dream. She dreamed that she and Huo Nanxiao fell into the sea together, but Huo Nanxiao couldn't swim. She could only keep swimming towards Huo Nanxiao, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't touch him. She cried anxiously, calling Huo Nanxiao's name over and over again.
Intense pain invaded her brain, and Xia Ningxi was in so much pain that she could hardly breathe. She suddenly opened her eyes.

"Let me do it." Huo Nanxiao took Xia Ningxi's shoes and put them on for her himself.

Huo Nanxiao said, "You're not in the right condition to be discharged from the hospital right now. I'll take good care of the child."
"I'll be fine staying here. Like I said, I'm a doctor myself, and there won't be any danger if I go home." Xia Ningxi insisted on leaving.
