Chapter 395 We Save Mommy Ourselves
Little Chu Chu was very scared and hid in Xia Ning Xi's arms. Her big, grape-like eyes blinked and stared at her surroundings.
Xia Ningxi could only hold Chu Chu tightly to make the little one feel more at ease.
She looked at the majestic seaside villas not far away and went inside.
A faint fragrance wafted towards me; it smelled wonderful and pleasant.
Xia Ningxi frowned and walked in, where she saw a strikingly handsome man with his back to her, holding a pair of scissors and pruning the potted plants on the table.
The light shone on him, making him appear exceptionally gentle.
Xia Ningxi carried Chu Chu inside. Looking at the familiar figure, she recognized him at a glance – it was Li Yancheng.
"What do you want from me?" Xia Ningxi questioned.
The man turned around and saw Xia Ningxi. A handsome smile appeared on his lips. He said, "Long time no see."
"I don't want to see you at all," Xia Ningxi said bluntly.
Li Yancheng walked towards her with a smile, toying with the sharp scissors in his hand. When he reached Xia Ningxi, he used the tip of the scissors to lift her chin, with a hint of amusement: "But I really want to see you, what should I do?"
Xia Ningxi angrily slapped his hand away.
Li Yancheng curled his lips into a smile: "Tsk, still as hot-tempered as ever. I wonder if your precious daughter has the same fiery temper as you."
Xia Ningxi's heart skipped a beat.
Li Yancheng had already snatched the little girl from her arms!
"Give me back my child!" Xia Ningxi shouted excitedly as she chased after him.
Li Yancheng carried Chu Chu to the tea table and placed a small plum blossom-shaped pastry in Chu Chu's hand: "Little girl, come and try it, see if it's delicious."

He got angry and ignored Xia Ningxi, put Chu Chu on the sofa, and placed all the small pastries on the table in front of the little girl.

The maid immediately brought over a glass of hot milk.

Chu Chu said, "Uncle, she is not dead, she is perfectly fine."
A look of surprise flashed in Li Yancheng's eyes. He hadn't expected this little girl to answer him. He smiled and asked, "How did you know?"
Chu Chu said, "Because we just came out of the hospital, and that mistress is still alive."
Li Yancheng's smile widened even more: "A mistress?"
"Isn't she one?" Chu Chu asked, her face full of doubt.
Li Yancheng smiled and placed a piece of pastry in Chu Chu's small palm: "That is Huo Nanxiao's beloved, the person he will marry into the family in the future. You must not let Huo Nanxiao hear you say that, otherwise, he will not forgive you."
Chu Chu muttered to herself, "With Grandpa Huo around, she won't be able to get into the Huo family."
Li Yancheng smiled: "Not necessarily."
Chu Chu raised her head: "Why?"
Li Yancheng didn't explain, but instead put a piece of candy into Chu Chu's mouth.
The little girl made two "mmm" sounds, her little mouth stuffed full. She tried to spit out the candy but found it quite delicious, so she simply ate it quietly.
Li Yancheng: "He can really eat."
He instructed the servants to bring out all the fruit from the kitchen.
Chu Chu's eyes lit up.
Li Yancheng: "Take whatever you want to eat."
"Thank you, Uncle." Chu Chu smiled sweetly, completely forgetting that she was now a kidnapped prisoner.
The little girl was hungry too, and she ate everything. When she tasted something delicious, she didn't forget to share it with Xia Ningxi.

Everyone was worried about Xia Ningxi.
Xia Ningxi remained calm, staring coldly at Li Yancheng.
Li Yancheng wasn't angry. "Think what you want. Anyway, you're not leaving today."
He carried Qi Chu in one arm and walked towards the restaurant, instructing the kitchen to bring out dinner to serve the little girl.
Chu Chu initially disliked Li Yancheng, but seeing so much delicious food, she couldn't stay angry.
The little girl turned around and said, "Mommy, there's so much food! Come here quickly!"
Xia Ningxi: "..."
The little girl broke free from Li Yancheng's hand, ran to Xia Ningxi's side, and took her hand as they walked towards the restaurant.
Li Yancheng curled the corners of his lips but remained silent.
Xia Ningxi's stomach rumbled loudly; she was very hungry. Looking at the table full of fragrant dishes, she couldn't help but swallow hard. They really did smell delicious!
