Chapter 806 Where did she get such great abilities?

Seeing that Xia Ningxi didn't seem to care at all, the headmistress, being of low status, couldn't force Xia Ningxi to come and apologize.

After they left, Xia Ningxi continued working.

The three little ones ran downstairs and gathered around Xia Ningxi: "Mommy, did they give you any trouble?"

"No, don't worry," Xia Ningxi said gently.

Huo Yuan lowered his head and said, "I'm sorry, Mommy, it's all my fault."

“You did nothing wrong, and neither did Xingxing. They are the ones who are wrong. Don’t be afraid, Mommy will handle this.” Xia Ningxi said earnestly.

Huo Yuan kept his head down: "Is Mommy trying to comfort me?"

“Silly child, you don’t need to feel guilty. They bullied you first. If anyone should feel guilty or apologize, it should be them, not you. You can’t think that you did something wrong just because someone bullied you,” Xia Ningxi explained very seriously.

Huo Yuan nodded and said nothing more.

Xia Ningxi didn't let the children get involved; she decided to handle it herself.

On Wednesday morning, John arrived at Xia Ningxi's workplace with several senior executives from the Zall Group.

Don's assistant, Ellie, personally greeted them and led them on a tour of the exhibition area.

After the tour, John asked, "Is there someone here named Xia Ningxi?"

Ellie smiled warmly: "Yes, you two know each other?"

John: "I've heard that Xia Ningxi is a person of extremely poor character. She bullies others and acts recklessly outside the lab under the guise of being a researcher. She even instructed her child to beat up another child at kindergarten, sending him to the hospital and bringing shame to your lab. Shouldn't you consider firing this incompetent person?"

Ellie's smile vanished instantly. Her face hardened, and she stared at the man in front of her with a very serious expression: "You've come here today to complain, haven't you?"

John: "No, that's not what I meant. I just thought it was really bad to have such a rotten apple smearing your reputation everywhere."

"Such a thing actually happened?" Blake, as the vice president of the Zhuoer Group, was also curious when he heard about this. He had been cooperating with Tang En for many years and had never heard of anyone daring to smear them outside.

John: "Yes, it's all true."

Blake: "Your lab represents the entire state of Desla. You absolutely cannot let someone like this ruin your reputation."

Ellie's composure had completely crumbled; she couldn't manage a smile, and her tense face grew increasingly cold.

"Xia Ningxi? Mr. John, are you sure she's really that bad outside?"

“I’m sure it’s all true. Her kids are absolutely despicable. They beat up other children at school, and as a mother, not only does she not discipline them, but she also encourages them to escalate their behavior. It’s not good for someone like that to work here.” John continued to embellish the story.

He went to great lengths to get Xia Ningxi out of her job.

Blake was enjoying his gossip and didn't bother with John's complaint.

But he didn't expect that after John finished speaking, Ellie completely changed. "It seems that the Zhuoer Group has a lot of opinions about our laboratory. In that case, there's no need to continue negotiating the special drug this quarter. You can go back now."

"No, how did this get to this?" Blake jumped up in surprise after realizing what had happened.

He just wanted to enjoy the show; he didn't mean to go against the people in the lab!

Who would have thought that Ellie would cut off their special medicine? How are they going to make money now?

Blake quickly told John to shut up.

John didn't know why Ellie was reacting so strongly, so he immediately apologized: "I'm sorry, I was talking nonsense. It's all my fault. Please don't let this little thing affect our cooperation."

Ellie: "This is what the person in charge said. Your goods won't be ready until next quarter. Please come back in three months."

Blake was stunned.

John was also full of questions.

Why did they suddenly blacklist their company? Just because they said a few bad things about Xia Ningxi, they were immediately sidelined. That's not a good idea, is it?

Blake grew anxious: "Did John say something he shouldn't have? I'm sorry, it's all my fault for not managing my subordinates properly. Let's talk this over. We can raise the price, but we absolutely can't wait until three months later."

Ellie smiled and said, "I'm sorry, this is all the manager's idea. We have too many companies working with us, so we need to deliver goods to other companies in advance, and then it will be your turn last."

"It wasn't like this before," Blake said, bewildered.

Allie glanced at John thoughtfully, smiled, offered no explanation, and turned to leave.

Ellie didn't utter a single word about the early delivery.

Blake was at his wits' end, pacing back and forth in a panic. Finally, he could only angrily yell at John, "Are you a foul-mouthed person? Why are you spouting nonsense for no reason?"

John wondered, "You can't treat our company differently just because I said bad things about Xia Ningxi, can you?"

"Who knows who Xia Ningxi is? You go apologize right now!" Blake ordered, not caring whether Xia Ningxi was the reason their company was being targeted, just that John apologized.

But John couldn't bring himself to do that.

"Isn't this a bit much? I'm a grown man going to apologize to her, and besides, I didn't say anything wrong," John still tried to argue.

Blake: "Then tell me, why is this lab, which we've been working with for so many years, suddenly targeting our company? It must be you, you bastard, who angered them the most!"

John is even more innocent.

He admitted that he had talked too much just now, but shouldn't someone like Xia Ningxi be fired?

Her son beat his own son to a pulp, shouldn't he teach Xia Ningxi a lesson?

John didn't dare tell Blake what had happened at the kindergarten. When he got back, he immediately asked someone to investigate Xia Ningxi, wanting to know who she really was.

He searched for a long time but couldn't find any information related to Xia Ningxi. He also had a crying child at home and a wife who kept poking his forehead and cursing him for being a good-for-nothing. He was on the verge of tears.

Jerry: "Daddy, you have to teach Xia Xingxing a lesson for me! He called me a big fat pig today! Waaaaah, I can't live like this anymore!"

Woman: "Where have you been all day? Your son has been bullied like this and you still don't care? Aren't you a senior executive at Zhuoer Group? Fire those three little bastards!"

Jerry: "Waaah, Daddy, fire them! Fire them! I never want to see them again!"

Little Jerry cried terribly.

John, annoyed, said, "Alright, stop howling. If you keep this up, I'll lose my job."

He was frustrated and couldn't understand why Ellie, who was usually very friendly to him, suddenly acted like a different person today, and why the laboratory, with which they had always cooperated well, would suddenly target them.

Could it be because of Xia Ningxi? Where did she get such great abilities?
