After dinner, the children sat together watching cartoons. Huo Nanxiao called the hospital and was relieved to learn that Xia Ningxi was still resting. He told Ye Su, "Prepare a light dinner for her, nothing too oily or spicy."
"Yes, Mr. President. I will take good care of the young mistress. However, Xia Wanwan has been wanting to see you." Ye Su asked cautiously.
Huo Nanxiao was silent for a few seconds, then said, "I understand. I'll go over there later."
After hanging up the phone, Huo Nanxiao took the child to take a bath.
Huo Yuan noticed that something was wrong and asked, "Is Daddy going to the hospital?"
"Hmm," Huo Nanxiao responded indifferently.
Huo Yuan said, "Can I go out with Daddy? It's not fun at home."
"Okay." Huo Nanxiao readily agreed.
Huo Yuan was very happy. He obediently washed himself clean and changed into his handsome clothes.
The younger siblings were still angry with Huo Nanxiao, but they didn't want to stay at home pitifully, so they got into Huo Nanxiao's car as well.
Upon arriving at the hospital, Huo Nanxiao asked Ye Su to take care of the child while he went to see Xia Wanwan.
Ye Su took her three children to play in the hospital's rehabilitation square.
Xingxing asked curiously, "Aunt Ye, is Daddy hiding something from us?"
Ye Su asked in confusion, "No, why would you think that?"
"Mommy didn't come home today, and Daddy was acting strangely too. He didn't take us to see Mommy when we got to the hospital. It's obvious he has something he doesn't want us to know. Is he deliberately trying to get rid of us to you?" Xingxing boldly guessed.
Ye Su was startled, amazed by his intelligence.
"Your mommy is in the lab and won't be back for the next few days, so don't overthink it," Ye Su said, forcing herself to keep quiet.
Xingxing didn't ask any more questions and obediently ran off to the amusement park with her brother and sister.
While Ye Su wasn't paying attention, Xingxing said, "Shall we sneak away?"
Huo Yuan: "Isn't this a bad idea? Where are we going to run off to?"
"Go find Mommy. Today is so strange. Mommy and Daddy are divorced, there's no reason for Daddy to take care of the child. Maybe something happened to Mommy," Xingxing boldly guessed.
Chu Chu cried anxiously, "We have to go save Mommy!"
Xingxing looked at Huo Yuan: "Brother, want to come together?"
"Okay." Huo Yuan nodded.
The three little ones crawled into the slide and quickly slipped away while Ye Su wasn't paying attention. By the time Ye Su noticed, the little ones had already run into the hospital.
Xingxing easily found Lin Jiangbei's ward and learned that Xia Ningxi was staying next door. The little ones were very puzzled, and when they opened the door, they found Xia Ningxi lying in the hospital bed.
The little ones were stunned, their eyes instantly reddened, tears streaming down their faces, and they rushed to Xia Ningxi's bedside, sobbing loudly.
While asleep, Xia Ningxi felt herself being hit three times hard, all on her wound. She opened her eyes in pain and met three tearful faces. She was stunned: "Why are you here?"

Xingxing asked, "Where did Daddy go? Wasn't he here to visit Mommy at the hospital?"

Her hospital room was large, a private suite with two bedrooms, a living room, and a private bathroom, which was more than enough for her.
The three little ones just wanted to stay with Xia Ningxi, so they obediently agreed.
"Has Mommy had dinner yet?" Huo Yuan asked worriedly.
Xia Ningxi said, "Not yet, we'll eat in a bit."
Huo Yuan noticed a thermal food container on the table and immediately ran to open it. Inside was dinner prepared by Ye Su, still warm. He immediately placed it on the small table by the bedside.
"I'll feed Mommy," Huo Yuan said enthusiastically.
Xia Ningxi smiled and said, "Okay."
Chu Chu quickly came over and said, "I want to feed Mommy too."
The two little ones jostled each other, while Xingxing sat to the side lost in thought, and quietly left the ward.
He noticed several bodyguards whispering outside a room, mentioning Huo Nanxiao's name in their conversation, and immediately moved closer.
Bodyguard 1: "Madam Tian is furious this time. Fortunately, Dr. Xia is alright, otherwise Xia Wanwan would have to pay with her life."
Bodyguard 2: "It's no use for President Huo to say anything now. It's a done deal that Xia Wanwan hired someone to hurt someone. We have to keep an eye on things and make sure he doesn't take Xia Wanwan away. Otherwise, we'll be in big trouble if we get blamed by the higher-ups."

"Yeah, I don't know what's wrong with her either. Logically speaking, my mommy didn't provoke her. She's already taken my daddy away, so why is she still so aggressive?" Xingxing pretended to be puzzled.
Ling Shuang knew perfectly well that Xia Wanwan was targeting Xia Ningxi in order to make her disappear completely so that she could secure her position as the eldest young mistress of the Huo family.
