Chapter 816 It's never her turn
Xia Wanwan was speechless inside. She had a lot of opinions about Fu Mingyan, but even if she disliked Fu Mingyan's actions, she couldn't show it. She was afraid that others would see through her thoughts.

"A year or two? What about the child?" Huo Nanxiao was very displeased.
Ling Shuang smiled indifferently: "This is not something I, an outsider, should concern myself with. You know we just brought Lin Jiangbei here for treatment. The doctor's family situation really has little to do with us, and there's no need for us to report it to him."
"Can you get in touch with her?" Huo Nanxiao asked.

She kept piling food onto Huo Nanxiao's plate, filling it to the brim in no time. Then, she quietly picked up the remote and turned on the huge TV hidden in the wall of the restaurant, which played the latest news, including the news of Lin Jiangbei's successful surgery.
Qu Huilan: "Ning Xi is really amazing. Lin Jiangbei's illness is not easy to cure."
"I heard that the deputy mayor of our capital city went to great lengths to bring Ning Xi back."

The TV was on all the time, playing news about Lin Jiangbei on a loop, and Xia Ningxi's name was also played repeatedly in the restaurant, at a very loud volume. Huo Nanxiao suddenly lost his appetite.
"I'm full." Without offering any further explanation, she got up and left.

"I heard that the Xia family has been looking for someone to help Xia Wanwan with her health recently, and it seems they are planning to have a child," Qu Huilan said with some concern.
Huo Xiuyuan sneered: "It would be a miracle if she could give birth. Even if she did, I wouldn't accept her and the child. Everything in the Huo family will definitely be given to those three children. There's no way they'll get a turn!"
