Chapter 29 Come Home with Me
Huo Yuan was so frightened that he didn't dare to utter a sound. His eyes were red with grievance, and tears streamed down his face.
Xia Luoluo showed no pity, disdainfully shaking off Huo Yuan's hand. Looking down at him, she said in the coldest voice, "You are not allowed to tell your father about what happened today. If you dare to reveal even a single word, I will lock you in a dark room when we get back."
"I won't tell, I won't tell." Huo Yuan shook his head, crying, and said in a hoarse voice, "Don't lock me in the dark room, Auntie, please don't."
"Hmph, since you're somewhat obedient, tonight you'll tell your daddy that Dr. Xia isn't taking good care of you, that you don't like her, and that your daddy should call me to the hospital to take care of you, understand?" Xia Luoluo said sternly.
Huo Yuan lowered his head and said, "I understand."
"I've made breakfast for you on the table, eat it yourself." Xia Luoluo turned and left.
The door was closed.
The bodyguards outside wanted to come in to check the situation, but Xia Luoluo stopped them.
Huo Yuan sat pitifully on the hospital bed, wiping away his tears.
Xia Xingxing heard everything that was said earlier, and he was so angry that his fists were hard. He finally managed to hold back until Xia Luoluo left, and then he crawled out from behind the curtains.
Huo Yuan looked at him with his big, teary eyes and said, "I'm sorry."
Xia Xingxing said, "Is she your aunt? How could she be so mean?"
Huo Yuan lowered his head, his tears soaking the bedding.
Xia Xingxing was still gritting her teeth: "My mommy is the best person in the world. There are men who want to pursue my mommy all the way to France. How dare she have the nerve to accuse my mommy of seducing your daddy? What is your daddy anyway!"
"My daddy is a scoundrel," Huo Yuan corrected while crying.
Xia Xingxing was furious: "That's right, your daddy is a piece of trash."
"I feel like you're swearing at me," Huo Yuan said, his nose red and looking aggrieved.
Xia Xingxing said, "I was cursing. That stinky woman just now, how could she have such a vicious mouth? I think she wants to get close to your daddy and become the young mistress of the Huo family."
He walked up to Huo Yuan and said very seriously, "You're not really going to have your dad kick my mommy out, are you?"
"But my aunt won't let her near me. She said that if I don't listen, my mommy will never wake up again, and she's going to lock me in a dark room." Huo Yuan bit her lip, and large tears fell down her cheeks.
Xia Xingxing said, "She's a complete liar. My mommy is such a good person. She would never lock you in a dark room. How can you bear to kick my mommy out and make her lose her job?"
Huo Yuan shook his head.
Xia Xingxing: "Then go back tonight and tell your daddy to let my mommy stay with you. As long as my mommy stays to take care of you, I will come to see you every day. But if you kick my mommy out, I will never play with you again in this lifetime."
"I don't want to send her away, but what about my aunt? She'll punish me if she gets angry," Huo Yuan asked.
Xia Xingxing said, "Are you stupid? Come to my house! My mommy is the best person in the world, and I also have an uncle who cooks incredibly well. Come to my house, and we'll hide so she can't find us, then she won't be able to punish you."
"But I don't know where you live." Huo Yuan lowered his head, looking very disappointed.
Xia Xingxing said, "I'll take you there now. Remember my house. If you ever feel wronged, just run to my house."
"But the doctor said I can't get out of bed yet," Huo Yuan said, feeling very disappointed.

"I'll go home with you after I'm discharged from the hospital, okay?" Huo Yuan said.

"Then you can eat, I won't bother you anymore." Xia Xingxing went to climb out the window again.
Not long after Xia Xingxing left, Xia Ningxi returned and saw that Huo Yuan's eyes were red, clearly indicating that he had been crying, and the blanket was also wet.
"Did your aunt come by?" Xia Ningxi asked.
"Hmm." Huo Yuan's voice was hoarse.
Xia Ningxi sat down next to Huo Yuan and asked gently, "Did she scold you again?"
Huo Yuan's eyes reddened, but he remained silent.
Xia Ningxi felt heartbroken and hugged Huo Yuan tightly: "A Yuan, you are a good boy. No matter what nasty things Xia Luoluo says, don't take them to heart. Just ignore what she says."
"Dr. Xia, would you like my daddy?" Huo Yuan looked up, his big eyes sparkling. He really wanted to know the answer.
Xia Ningxi smiled bitterly: "If it were four years ago, I would have fallen madly in love with him, but it's not four years ago now. I could never fall in love with him again in this lifetime."
"Dr. Xia, would you like me?" Huo Yuan asked again.
Xia Ningxi looked him straight in the eyes; "Want to hear the truth?"
"Yes, I want to hear the truth." Huo Yuan said very seriously.
Xia Ningxi said, "You are the best child I have ever met. Love is more precious than liking. I love you more."
A big smile appeared on Huo Yuan's face. This was the first time someone had said they loved him. Huo Yuan was so moved that he almost cried, and he hugged Xia Ningxi uncontrollably: "Dr. Xia, thank you."
"Silly child, don't cry." Xia Ningxi gently comforted Huo Yuan.
Huo Yuan asked, "Dr. Xia, do you have a child?"
"Hmm? Why are you suddenly asking this?" Xia Ningxi became more alert.
Huo Yuan said, "I'm just curious, is it inconvenient for Dr. Xia to tell me?"
“Your daddy doesn’t like you knowing too much about me. I’ll tell you when the time is right. But first, you have to tell me what your aunt did to you when she came. Did she hit you or scold you?” Xia Ningxi asked.
Huo Yuan lowered his head: "My aunt told me not to associate with Dr. Xia, and said that Dr. Xia would steal my daddy and abandon me. She said you are a bad person, but I don't believe it."
"Ah Yuan, I'm not a bad person." Xia Ningxi hugged Huo Yuan and said softly, "I don't want your daddy either. You're the person I love most. How could I throw you away? If anyone says anything like that in the future, tell me, and I'll help you get justice, understand?"
"Dr. Xia, don't go to your aunt, she'll bully you," Huo Yuan said worriedly.
Xia Ningxi said, "I know, but it's not certain who will bully whom. You should stay here and recover. As for your aunt, I have my own plans."
